O

bjects

Two of the most significant objects in this book are Jack’s skateboard and a very old book, The Secret History of Hazelwood.

Jack’s skateboard is very important to him because whenever he is bored he goes out to skateboard. The old book,   The Secret History of Hazelwoood , is important to Jack because it reveals to Jack some interesting and unknown facts about this town.

Places

Two significant places in this book are Clive and Mabel’s house and the playground.

The house of Clive and Mabel is the place where most of the weird things occur. The playground is where Jack rides his skateboard when he has nothing else to do.

“Here's a little song i wrote,

you might want to sing it note for note,

don't worry, be happy

in every life we have some trouble, when you worry you make it double

don't worry, be happy” By: Bob Marley

This song relates to my books because Jack, the main character, stands up for himself. For example, when he gets bullied, he runs away or rides away on his skateboard.
