About NBA• The NBA stands for National Basketball Association• It is a very big sport in America• There is 30 teams in the NBA• The best players play the all star, olympics, 3 point or dunk

contest.

What They use

• In the NBA they use a basketball of course, but the type of basketball they use is a Spalding.• They also have certain shoes they use, which

they normally get from there sponsors. E.g.. Michael Jordan has his own shoe company named ‘ Air Jordan’.

Sponsors• Some of the sponsors for the NBA are Nike or Adidas. These

sponsors give the player things to wear/use and pay them to wear it. They do this so that they get people to do what the players do.

• Some of these sponsors are….• Spalding, Air Jordan, Adidas and more. These sponsors usually

make shoes, and sometimes even make shoes for an individual player.

Contests• In the NBA there are competitions like the 3 point contest. This

contest is to see who can make the most 3 pointers from the racks in 1 minute.

• There is also the dunk contest, which is the contest when the players that can dunk go into one big competition to get the best and fanciest dunk.

• There is an all-star game as well were all of the best players play against each other from whether there West side or the EAST side of America.

Celebrity Games• In the NBA they have celebrity game. This is when a lot of the

popular celebrities go to play an NBA game. In this event there is a MVP. Last years MVP was Kevin Hart.

pay• The NBA is where the most paid sportsmen are. The player no

matter how well they play or if there on the bench still get paid a lot.

• The top players in the NBA are the most paid, also with there sponsors paying them. Eg. Lebron James is the best player in the NBA. He gets paid $19,067,500 a season!!!!
