1• This phase starts when the

tip of the rotor passes the intake port.

• As the rotor moves the volume of the chamber expands with the mixture of fuel & air

• As the rotor moves continuously the air & fuel mixture gets compressed.

• Most rotary engines have two spark plugs. When the plugs ignite , create pressure to move the rotor.

• This cycle continues until the peak of the rotor passes exhaust port

• Once the peak of the rotor passes the exhaust port, the high pressure combustion gasses are free to flow out of the exhaust .

• The same cycle continues from intake to exhaust again & again.
