My experience

Barking Havering and RebridgeUniversity Hospital – Patient Champion In light of negative press in the

organisation Ashley saw Change Day as

a chance to do something positive.

“People had huge pressures to deliver on things that

were much bigger than change day.”

Ashley's experience is about offering

people a choice to work together in the

face of big challenges, particularly those

that we share relationships with.

Our main Trust wide pledge for NHS Change day in 2013 Guardian Service – Informal way of raising concerns

Pitch to the board

“Would a member of NHS staff use a trulyindependent service where you can raise aconcern, issue or problem about anythingpertaining to your role, colleagues or workplace in complete confidentiality andanonymity?”

A service that created a safe environment foryou to come and just have a conversation.“

The service is run by Ashley

In general terms, the more positive the experiences of staff within an NHS trust, the better the outcomes for that trust.
