Apostasy is “a falling away from a standing position.” In application, this simplymeansthatamanprofessestobelievesomethinghedoesnotbelieve,orheprofessestobestandingforsomethingheused tostand forbutno longerstandsfor.Thecontemporaryapostates in America today are the Fundamentalists who “use” the AV because they“prefer”it($$$),notbecausetheybelieveit.Yearsago(1880-1920)apostateswerecalled“Conservatives”;theyarenowcalled“Modernists”or“Liberals.”

Apostasy is alwaysgradual, and it alwaysbegins in the sameplace: from190A.D.(Alexandria)to1990A.D.(BobJonesUniversity),italwaysbeginsinaChristiancenterofhigherlearning.Therearenoexceptions.TheoriginalDarkAgeuniversitiesweresetup by the Catholic Church. Every teacher in them had to subscribe to all of thefundamentals given in the Bob Jones University “Creed,” plus the creedal statementsfoundintheso-called“Apostles’Creed.”TheschoolsinAmericathatbeganwithastrongfundamental, evangelistic emphasis were Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth, Columbia, andPrinceton. The conservative schools of England were Cambridge and Oxford. Beforethem,Halle,Tubingen,Heildelberg,Stuttgart,Berlin,etc.,went“thewayofallflesh.”

Apostasy in Germany was heralded byMelanchthon (after Luther) and changes inLuther’sBiblebyFranke,Bengel,Hedinger,etal.ApostasyinEnglandwasheraldedbytheDeistsandchangesintheAuthorizedVersionbyFell,Mill,Walton,Westcott,Hort,etal.ApostasyinAmericawasheraldedbyPhilipSchaffandchangesintheAVbyGreen,Robertson,Machen,Davis,Wuest,etal.“Thereisnonewthingunderthesun” (Eccl.1:9). Christian educators have been at the root of apostasy every time it showed up,anywhereonthefaceofthisplanet.TheNCCCtodayiscomposedofchurchesandmenwhowere theproductof colleges,universities, and seminaries that allprofessed, at onetime, to believe in the “inspired original autographs.” The “autographs” just weren’taroundtoaffectanyone,sonature“tookitscourse,”asalways.

AstudyofBibleversionsisoneofthebestwaystomonitorthelength,breadth,depth,and intensity of any apostate or any apostate institution. Spener, Zinzendorf, Bohler,Spangenberg,andFrankedonot“gowrong”as longas theystickwithLuther’sHeiligeSchrifte.Wesley,Whitefield,Knox,Edwards,Freylinghausen,andC.H.SpurgeondonotgowrongaslongastheystickwiththeAVoftheProtestantReformation.Moody,Torrey,Finney,Sunday,andSamJoneshavenodangerofbecoming“Liberals”or“Modernists”or“Neo-Evangelicals”aslongastheystickwiththeKingJamesBible.

However,somethinggoesRADICALLYwrongwithChristiansinEnglandafter1880,andsomethinggoesradicallywrongwithChristiansinAmericaafter1933.By“radical,”wemeansomethinggoessobadly“outofwhack”thatitaffectstheMORAL,SOCIAL,RELIGIOUS,andECONOMICstructuresoftheentirenation.Nooneispretendingtobea“prophetofgloom”inthesematters.EnglandwouldhavelosttwoWorldWarsifwehad

notbailedherout,althoughboth timesshehadFranceandRussiaonherside.Americacouldnotwin inKoreaorVietnamafterWorldWar II, andher internal “problems”arenownothingshortofajoke.Shehasnofriendsoverseas,sheloansmoneytoherenemies,she bankrupts her people by supporting bums, abortions, muggers, homosexuals, babywhales, eagles, illegitimate children, and professional criminals, and her Socialistendeavors (integration, gay liberation,women’s lib, etc.) are so “far out” rationally andsensibly thata“FoundingFather”would lookone timeand take the first jet toCanada,Australia,orScotland.ThereisnodoubtaboutAmerica’sSPIRITUALCONDITION.Thefact that people like Shuller, Oral Roberts, Swaggart, and the Bakkers could collectliterally millions of dollars from Americans shows our true state far beyond anyone’s“poll”or“statisticalchart.”Integrationhasnotworkedinonecity,town,school,orchurchwhereithasbeentried—notonetimeinthirtyyears;nonetheless,ongoesthenewsmediaravingabout“apartheid”insomeothercountry.

England and America are bankrupt spiritually. Something happened to them. IthappenedtoGermanyintheeighteenthcentury,toEnglandinthenineteenthcentury,andtoAmericainthetwentiethcentury.(Spain,Poland,Austria,Italy,andFrancewereneverright“spiritually,”ineventhetokensenseoftheword.SouthAmericaandMexicoareajoke ifyouaregoing todiscuss“spirituality” fromaBiblicalviewpoint.Their troubles,liketheothers,areconnectedwithaBibleversion.)

The course of apostasy—this killing coil that wraps itself around a nation andstranglesittodeath—thisboaconstrictorthatcrushesthespirituallifeoutofacountry—ismarkedateverymovementbyaBIBLEVERSION.Studytheversions,andyoustudythehistoryofapostasy.

1.UntilJerome,theOldLatinversionswerealloverAfricaandsouthernEurope.OutcametheNewItalianStandardVersion(theVulgate),andincametheDarkAges.TheOldLatin survived only among those Bible believers in Ireland, England, and Europe whoweremartyredbythe“Fundamentalists”inRome.

2.Until1520, theVulgate runs theshow; thenuppop twoversions—MartinLutherfor the Germans and William Tyndale for the English. Out go the Dark Ages withJerome’sVulgate. In comes theReformation and theNewWorld (1492-1692). TheAVshowsupfollowingTyndale,andwithitcomesaworldwiderevivalinmusic,geography,art, the humanities, discoveries, industries, inventions, literature; this lasts until 1880.Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Schumann, Schubert, Wagner, Haydn, Mozart, Rembrandt,Cezanne,Rousseau,Bougereau,Remington,Edison,Farraday,Emerson,Morse,Dickens,Longfellow,etal.

3.Upshowsanother“version.”ItistheRVof1881.Downgoestheclassicalmusic,sothattodayyoucanonlygetanaudiencetoendureRavel,Shoenberg,Bartok,Copeland,etal., by sandwiching them between the classics of 1770-1880. In comes the Franco-PrussianWar,thePhilippineInsurrection,twoworldwars,theatombomb,justificationforsex perversion and pornography, liquor and drugs, overthrowing law and order, legalabortion,killersturnedloosetokillagainaftertwoandthreeconvictions,anationaldebtamountingtomoremoneythananymancouldcountintwolifetimesifhecountedtwentydollars per second, triple jeopardy in lawsuits, sixmillion displaced people, torture andterrorismreestablished,andtheannihilationoftheBillofRightsbystrikingouttheFirst

andTenthAmendments.

TheASVof1901istheAmericancomplementoftheRVof1881.Whowasresponsible for thereplacementof theOldLatinwithJerome(420A.D.)?

WhowasresponsibleforthereplacingofJeromewithLutherandTyndale(1520)?WhowasresponsibleforthereplacingoftheAuthorizedVersionwith theEnglishRVand theAmericanASV(1901)?

Whoeveritwas,theysuredida“bangup”jobofit,didn’tthey.

Well,itisBobJonesUniversityinAmericathatrecommends(andhasrecommendedforfortyyears)theGreektextoftheASVandNASV:itiscalledNestle’sGreekTestament.This “eclectic” text (allGreekTestaments are “eclectic”) is nearly identicalwith a textpublishedbytheUnitedBibleSocietycalledthe“AlandandMetzgertext.”BOTHtextsarebasedmainlyontheAlexandrianGreektextthatWestcottandHortusedfortheRVof1881. The outstanding representatives of this text are two corrupt manuscripts calledSinaiticus and Vaticanus: BOTH NAMES HAVE BEEN QUIETLY ERASED FROMNESTLE’S“INTRODUCTION”inthelasttenyears,althoughtheywerethereforeightyyears.BothofthesemanuscriptscontainApocryphalbooksASPARTOFtheinspiredOldTestament canon. One contains Apocryphal books in the New Testament (Aleph:Sinaiticus). Modern versions (NIV, NEB, NAB, NJB, NWT, etc.) pretend they are notinfluencedby these twomanuscriptson thegrounds that theydon’talwayschoose theirreadings; but as far as that goes, neitherAland,Metzger, norNestle always chose theirreadings.Theydo,however,callbothmanuscriptsthe“mostreliable”andthe“oldestandBEST”manuscripts. These manuscripts stand with Jerome’s Latin Vulgate in the NewTestamentagainst theKingJamesBible andMartinLuther’s translation.They thereforeheraldinanotherDARKAGE:thatiswhatJeromeheralded.ApostasycanbetracedbyBibleversions.

The study of apostasy in the English versions is fascinating if one observes theintricaciesoftheAdamicnatureoperatinginanefforttodefenditselffromthetruth.Innootherfieldcanonefindsuchanintertwinedtangleofsubtleandmisleadinghalf-truthsandquarter-truths,foroftenthereviseristotallyunconsciousofwhyhetakesacertaincourseorchoosesa“reading.”The“godofthisworld”(2Cor.4:4)isfarmoreinterestedinwhat“Godsaid”(Gen.3:1)thanthemostbrilliant,exactinglinguistwhoisatworkgettingridof theAuthorizedVersion.Aswepointout specific instances in the scripturewhere theapostatehasgonetoworktogetridofatruth(orcoverupatruth,orpervertatruth,orwaterdowna truth),wewillbe faced timeand timeagainwith thiscomplaint fromtheapostates’supportersorfriends:“WhatdifferencedoesTHATmake?Itdoesn’taffectonesingle fundamentalof the faith?”When it is called to theapostates’ attention that allofGod’sWORDS are important, then the apostate retaliates with, “What do you do thenabout thedifferentwordingsyou find in thevariouseditionsof theKing JamesBible?”Satan isprepared tooperate inanydirection,atamoment’snotice,withoutslowing thepaceofapostasybyonemileperhour.

Allkindsofthingshavebeenwrittenaboutthis,suchasTheBattlefortheBible,TheKing James Version Debate, etc., and anyone can obtain literature on comparisons ofversions;however,noonehasyetANALYZEDthe“thinking”behindthereadingsinthe

apostate versions that begin to appear in strengthwithWestcott andHort and continuetodaywiththeNewScofieldReferenceBible.

Howwasthisdonerightbeforetheeyesofanationthatcontainedmillionsofsavedpeople in itwhoprofessed tobelieve theBiblewasGod’sword?Itwasdone throughaleavening process (Matt. 13:33)—slowly, carefully, and subtly carried out by educatedChristians. All apostasy begins in orthodox, conservative colleges, seminaries, anduniversities.Therearenoexceptions.

ItwouldbeuselesstoattempttotracetheentireprocessfromtheworksofOrigenandJeromethrougheveryverseofNestle’stext,usingthecriticalapparatusforanalysis.ThemammothworkbyMillerandScriveneronCodexBanditsAlliesshowswhatisinvolvedin attempting this even BEFORE attempting to show howAland,Metzger, and Nestleassembled their material for their Greek New Testaments. Furthermore, all of thesemodern apostates will whine when pinned down and insist that they are no longer“followersofWestcottandHort.”Theyhaveproduced“new”(sameoldline)texts.Thenagain, a modern English translator will blabber about “eclecticism” in putting out hiscommercialgimmicksothatyouwillTHINKsomethingnewisbeingdone:nothingNEWisgoingonatall.ItistruethatNestle“backslid”andreinsertedmorethanfourhundredTextusReceptusreadingsintohis1979editionthathehadomittedforeightyyears(!),buteventhenhewhinedthatthiswasdueto“newevidence.”Ihavecheckedmorethantwohundredsofthesereadings,andtimeandtimeagaintherewasn’tanynewevidenceatall;healteredhisAlexandrian textdue toPRESSURE.Hedid it for thesamereason thataDemocratic sex pervert can be reelected to Congress while a “straight,” fornicatingRepublicanCongressmanisnotre-electedtoCongress.ItispopularpoliticallytosupportSodomites;youcangetawaywithit.Ablackantigunjournalistcanshootayoungmaninhisbackyard(1988)andnotbefinedfivedollars.Ifhewerewhite(likeBernardGoetz)hewouldgotojail.Itispopularpoliticallytosupportblacks.ManyofNestle’schangesintextweredone toplease“peerpressure.”Therewereno“newlydiscoveredpapyri” thathadanyeffectonmanyofthevariantreadingsatall.

Wewill takeup“the latest”version,andbeforewefinish typing this theywillhaveanother “new, new, NEW” corruption out to prove that everything said herehas beencorrected.Itwillneverbecorrected.ThegrosserrorsintheRVof1884haveNOTbeencorrectedbyeithertheASV,theNASV,theRSV,theNRSV,orANYEnglishBiblecomingfromtheJesuitDarkAgeGreektextof1582.Sowepickupthe“headofthepack,”whichat this time is the New International Version (Grand Rapids, Michigan: ZondervanPublishingCo.,1978),1,065,000copiesinprint;lessthanonehalfofthecopiesoftheAVprintedinthesametime.

This is the NIV, presently promoted by what we call “left-wing” Alexandrians.Radical, left-wingAlexandrians support theNASV (Bob Jones and faculty). The “rightwing”AlexandrianssupporttheNKJVandthe“MajorityText.”AllAlexandriansprofessthe same thing and operate the sameway.They all believe in dual authorities with noabsoluteauthorityabovetheiropinionsandpreferences,andallofthemprofessthatreal,absoluteauthoritydisappearedmorethaneighteencenturiesagoinapileoflostpiecesofpaperthathada“magical”powerattachedtothem.Thesenonexistent,mysticalscrapsarecalled“theoriginalautographs.”

Wearenotgoingtotaketimeoutinthisanalysisofapostasytoskipbackandforthbetween themodern versions (NASV, RSV, NRSV, TLB, NWT,NEB,NJB, NAB, etc.) tocompare them.Weare assuming that theMOTIVEbehind the revisionof everyoneofthemandthegoalofthecommitteesinvolvedwasEXACTLYTHESAME:1.ToreplacetheAuthorizedVersionpermanently.2.ToprovebyfinancialsuccessthattheirworkwassuperiortotheKingJames’stranslators($$$).

InthisanalysisyouwillbeabletoseehowSATANworksinthemindofanysinnerwho has dedicated his life to replacing the Absolute Authority of God Almighty with“Christian scholarship”—LaodiceanChristian scholarship.Motiveand intent iswhatwewill be displaying here:motive and intent revealed byWHAT the reviser didwith thewords in the verses.Wewill not take time out here to go into all of the intricacies ofHebrew andGreek grammar, for the apostateswould like nothing better than that; thatway they could cover up their sins by discussing etymological distinctions and abstractterminology. This has been done a thousand times in the works of lexicographers,encyclopedists, theologians, textualcritics,andgrammarians.Whatwearedoinghere isshowing you how ALL FUN-DAMENTALISTS and CONSERVATIVES operate whentryingtogetridoftheHolyBibleandreplaceitwiththeirownopinions.Whatisabouttobesaidof thecommitteeof theNIVwillhold true(withoutonedeviation) in regards toeveryman on theASV committee, everyman on theRV committee, everyman on theNASV committee, and every man on the RSV and NRSV committees and any other“committee”comingupbeforetheSecondAdvent.WearehereshowingwhattheBiblehastosayafter it(theBible)hasanalyzed itscritics.TheBible theseapostates“messedwith”was a“discerner of the thoughts and intents of theHEART” (Heb. 4:12), sowhenthesecommitteesmadeuptheirmindstoreplaceit(whilesomeofthemwerestill“using”it,ofcourse!)itworkedthemovereverytimetheirmotivesorintentsranafoulofit.Asyoucanseebywhatfollows,theyran“afoul”ofitsomanytimesthatnoonebutagenuine fool (“the real thing,” not just some uneducated hillbilly) would take themseriouslyasBiblestudents,letaloneBiblicalscholars.

Motiveandintentwillberevealedinthefollowingplaces:

Case A. Where the WORDS of God or the “word of God” suddenly becameimportant.

CaseB.Whereadoctrinalrevelationisgiven.

CaseC.Wheresalvationbygraceandgraceonlyisinvolvedinthepassage.

Case G.Miscellaneous; where nothing important is at stake but the reviser simplywishestogetridoftheKingJamestextsopeoplewillusehistextinsteadofthattext.

XII.Genesis49:18(caseB)wasputintoafuturehope,whereasthetextisaJewwhohasbeendeliveredfromthetribulationandhasalreadySEENGod’ssalvation.

XIII.Exodus3:14.CaseE: thenameofGodAlmightyhasbeenalteredfromthe“IAMTHATIAM”to“IAMWHOIAM,”absolutelydestroyingtherestoftheverse.IntheAV,GodwouldhavebeengivingMosesthepropercommissionbytellinghimtosay,“IAMHATHSENTME”(AV), for that isallhesaidHewas:“IAMTHATIAM.”However,intheNuttyIdiot’sVersion(pardonthelevity)hetellsMosestotellthemonlyHALF of a definition, for the definition is not simply, “I AM because I AM.” ThedefinitionintheNIVis“IamWHOIam.”Allright!WHOAREYOU?Yousee,youareright back where you started. He told Moses NOTHING by such a definition, so Heshouldhavesaid—iftheNIVwereright—”GotellthemIamWHOIam.”

XIV. Exodus 12:3-5. Case G: the great inspirational truth about salvation—”ALamb,”“THELamb,”and“YOURLamb,”hasbeenobliterated.Furthermore,whenitgot to “YOURLAMB” (AV), you no longer had a Lamb; instead you have only “theanimals.”WHOwouldbeinterestedingettingridofthe“LAMB”?

XV.Exodus34:7.CaseB:dealingwithoneofthegreatestdoctrinaltruthsintheentireBibleonOldTestamentsalvation,thecommitteewentcompletelytopiecesandsaidthatGod“doesnotleavetheguiltyunpunished,”therebyerasingthemostimportantrevelationintheOldTestamentonthedifferencebetweenitandNewTestamentsalvation.TheAVsaid“thatwillbynomeansCLEARtheguilty.”Abraham,Isaac,Jacob,Joseph,Moses,David,andNoahwerenot“CLEARED.”Neitherweretheirsins“takenaway”(seeHeb.10:1-4).NoneoftheNIVcommitteebelievedthisforasCurtisHutsonandBobJonesIII,theywerenaive,shallowtraditionalistswhenitcametoBiblestudy.(Notethatthesamecommittee deliberately contradicted the mess they gave you here over in Rom. 3; seeLXVII).

XVI.Numbers 14:29 (caseE) is translated correctly, but the simpletonswho did itforgotthatinHebrews3:16theyhadpretendedthatEVERYONEwhocameoutofEgyptperished in the wilderness! Observe how the highly superior Elizabethan Englishpreserved theTRUTHof thematter (Heb.3:16),which thosewhobelieved in“plenary,verballyinspiredoriginals”erasedanddidsotothedestructionoftheirreputations.Theycreatedadeliberatecontradictionthatdidn’texist(seeLXXXIX).

XVII.Numbers21:5.CaseG:noticeagainhowthemoderntranslators,whiletalkingabout “updating the language,” destroy reference after reference after reference wheremodernEnglishspeakersusetheAVtextincommonspeech.HeretheSoutherner’s“lightbread”(thatisthetwentiethcenturyexpression)hasbeenquietlyconvertedto“miserablefood.”

XVIII.Numbers33:52.CaseE:allmoderntranslatorsareanxioustoletyouknowthat

youcankeepyour“PICTURES,” even if they are “heathen.”TheNIVhere erases thewordfromthetext.Thisisdoneinanationwheretherearemorethanahundredmillionpeoplewatching“pictures”ontelevisionanaverageofthreehoursaday.WhowouldbeinterestedinerasingawarningintheBibleabout“pictures”?LookwhatthoseIsraelitesdidthatignoredthatwarning(Ezek.8:10,17-18)!

ThisseedhastobecountedtotheLordfora“GENERATION” (v.30)BECAUSETHELORDGENERATES IT (John 1:13). TheNIV is not just childish nonsense; it isdeliberateperversionoftwoofthegreatesttruthsintheentireBible.

XXX.Psalm119.CaseA:hereisthegreatestchapterintheBibleaboutthewordofGod, and it is the longest chapter in theBible,which isGod’sword. There isnothingaccordingtoGod’swordinverses38and41;instead,wefind“promise.”Thisabortionismade again in verse 76 and again in verse 82.Someone is not exactly joyful about the“word.”God’sword isnot“TRUEFROMTHEBEGINNING” in theNIV (v. 160).SomeoftheapostatesonthecommitteemusthavebeentheisticEVOLUTIONISTS.Weread, instead, “all yourwords are true.”Theword “promise” is substituted for“word”AGAINatverse170.

XXXI.InPsalm136(caseB)theliberalhumanistsdecidethatsince“mercy”istoonegative(itismerelytheabsenceofrevenge),theword“love”shouldbeinserted.Sowefind“HISLOVEENDURESFOREVER”occurringtwenty-sixtimes.TheHebrewwordisחסד(chesed)andismistranslated(ifwearetobelievetheNIVtext)inGenesis19:19as“kindness”—not “love.” Then it is mistranslated again in the NIV as a paraphrase inJudges 1:24, where we read “you are treated well.” Then, in line with“consistency”—rememberhowtheseincrediblehypocritessaidthatyouhadtotranslateπασχα(pascha)as“passover”everytimeitshowedup?—theytranslatedthesamewordas“unfailing love” in Psalm 85:7. But this sporadic fluctuation gets the apostates in realtroublewhentheygettoPsalm109:12,forhereisJudasIscariotpresentedas“themanofsin” (2 Thess. 2) and, lo and behold, theword חסד (chesed) is given as “may no oneextendkindnesstohim,”whichisn’tthesenseatall.Nothingpositiveisintheverse:whatwasintheversewas“MERCY,”whichisnegative.Toshowyouhowfar theseloving,coping, sharing, liberal apostateswill go to justify the positive translation of theword,lookatthecontextofPsalm109.Lookatverses6-17.

See what is taking place? Slowly but surely your Christian character is beingconverted into thecharacterofamodern liberalhumanitarian.True, theprocess isslow,forin“otherplaces”onewillfindtheNIVtranslatorsfollowingtheleadoftheAV.Butitis“alittleleaven”that“leaveneththewholelump,”notaBALLOFIT.Someoneisatworkonyourheart,soul,andmindtoconvertyouintoaBiblerejecting“Christian.”

XXXII.Psalm138:2.CaseA:theterrible“word”showsupagain,andaswehavejustseen,thisalwayscausesapanicwhenanapostateFundamentalistrunsintoit.SointhisPsalm— which magnifies the WRITTEN WORD ABOVE THE NAME OF JESUSCHRIST(seePhil.2:10)—theLaodiceanapostategoesafterthetext“hammerandtongs”till nothing is left of it. TheNIV reads, “for you have exalted above all things YOUR

NAMEANDYOURWORD.”Seehowitisdone?Youmovetheword“all”frombefore“thyname”andaddtheword“things,”andthenputan“and”whereitdoesn’texist.

Monkey tracks: someonehasbeenmonkeyingwithyourBible. Itmusthavebeenamonkey.ThisisanA-1exampleofhowapostasyworks.Thesesubtlechangeslooklikeverylittleonthesurfacebut“variant”readings,thekindyoumightfindinthe“differenteditionsoftheAV.”However,oncloseexaminationtheyturnouttobeSATANworkingthrough men that profess to believe the Bible and who do not even knowWHY theypervertthewords.

XXXIII.Psalm148:4.CaseE:observethetranslatorsflinchingatthethoughtofliteralWATER above the solar system (Gen. 1). To hide this truth the apostates havewritten“watersabovetheskies.”NosuchwordwasfoundintheHebrew.TheHebrewwasשמים(shamayim), which theNIV translators translate as “heaven” or “heavens” in Genesis,Exodus,Leviticus,Deuteronomy,Joshua,Judges,1and2Samuel,Ezra,Nehemiah,Job,Proverbs,Isaiah,Jeremiah,andDaniel.

Proverbs 12:11 (case G) has been altered beyond any approximateresemblancetotheAV.Proverbs11:17doesn’tbearanyresemblancetoanythingfoundintheHolyBible(AV).“Foolsmakeamockatsin”(Prov.14:9,oneofthegreatestversesin the Old Testament used by EVERYmajor preacher in the history of the Protestantmovement)hasbeenobliterated.ItsaysintheNIV,“FoolsmockatmakingamendsFORsin.”

XXXV. Proverbs 16:3. Case F: this is the greatest verse in the Old Testament fortellingayoungmanhowtoovercomesinsofthoughtandsinsoftheimagination(see2Cor.10:4-5intheNewTestament).IthasbeensatanicallyconvertedtoaNormanVincentPeale,ChuckSwindoll,RobertShullertypeofhomily:“CommittotheLordwhateveryoudo,andYOURPLANSwillsucceed.”The“original”said“CommitthyworksuntotheLord,andTHYTHOUGHTSshallbeestablished.”

Who would make a change like that and lead you to think that you could be a“success” by commitments, without CONTROL OVER YOUR THOUGHTS? Whowoulddoathinglikethat?Yougetoneguess:justone.

XXXVI.Proverbs18:1-2.CaseF:IpulledthisoneonthePh.D.’sinthefacultyatBobJonesUniversityback in1952,but ithasbeenneatly rearrangedsoyoucannotspot theculprit.Theculpritinthe“original”wasabrilliantmanwhospenthistimeinintellectualpursuits in hopes that eventually he would find an ALIBI to commit the SINS HEWANTEDTOCOMMIT.SincealloftheNIVcommitteewasinthisbracket, theyknewthethreattheverseposedtothem,sotheygotridofit.

“Anunfriendlymanpursuesselfishends;hedefiesallsoundjudgment.Afoolfindsnopleasureinunderstandingbutdelightsinairinghisownopinions.”Thatisexactlywhatthewriterdidnotsay; that isexactlywhathedidnotmean.That isaman-made, flesh-conceivedcover-upforadirtyrascalwhowantsto“discover”hisownheartandisolateshimself(“secondaryseparation”)tointermeddlewithallwisdom(AV).

Canyouimaginewhatkindof“Christians”theNIVwillproduce?TheNIVisoneofthe120-plus“replacements”fortheAV.“Bytheirfruitsyeshallknowthem.”

XXXVII.Proverbs20:6.CaseF:havingprovedtobeunfaithfulstewardsoftheword(see 1Cor. 4:1-2), the apostates don’t go three chapters before hitting“Mostmenwillproclaimeveryonehisowngoodness:butafaithfulman,whocanfind?”

Bynowdon’tyouknowwhatisgoingtohappen?Can’tyouguess?Oneguess.Youare right;here itcomes.“Manyamanclaims tohaveunfailing love,buta faithfulmanwhocanfind?”

The man’s GOODNESS was in question—his self righteousness. There was nodiscussionofanyone“loving”someone.ItwashisRIGHTEOUSNESSthatwasatstake.

XXXVIII.Proverbs23:14.CaseF: if you are anNIV fan,youneverhave toworryabout any of your children going to hell, whether youwhip them or not. They are allsaved. TheNIV says you can only save their soul from “DEATH”; hell is out of thequestion;thereisnohellanywhereinanyoftheBible’ssixty-sixbooksifyouarestupidenoughtothinktheNIVisa“Bible.”Proverbs27:20saysthereisnohell;just“death.”

XXXIX.Ecclesiastes10:10.CaseF:youdon’tneed“WISDOM”todirectyouifyouhave“skill”(NIV),andinthecontextofthisoneSolomonwastalkingabouthavingtousemore “STRENGTH” (not skill) if you didn’t sharpen your axe. The tool needs“WISDOM”appliedtoit,notskill.Nomatterhow“skillful”youwieldedyourdullaxe,youwouldstillhave to“puttomorestrength.”Asyoucansee, theNIVcommittee isslowlybutsurely“losingtheirmarbles.”

XL.Ecclesiastes12:9-10.CaseF:theNASVboldly“churched”thepastorandturnedhimintoa“scholar”(i.e.,oneoftheirowncrew).TheNIVgoeshalfwayandmakeshima“teacher”(likeThieme,Custer,Neal,Martin,Afman,Olson,Farstad,etal.) insteadofa“PREACHER.”IntheAVheis“thepreacher.”

Working you over slowly aren’t they? Plenty of time: “line upon line,” “preceptuponprecept,”“herealittletherealittle”until(Isa.28:13)you“fallbackward,andbebroken,andsnared,andtaken,”(AV).Youwereapreacher,butyoucanno longerpreach;youmustjust teach.Youhaveto“coolit.”Thenyoubecomeascholarand justwriteandtalk;youdon’tdeliveranymessageaboutanything;youjustcorrect theBookand think that“THEONESHEPHERD” (Ecc.12:11)gaveyou thewords for itwhenyouactuallygotthemrightoutofhell.Slickoperation,don’tyouthink?

XLI. Isaiah6:13.CaseB: the literal sacrificeof the Jewsat theAntichrist’saltar inJerusalem(Rev.6:9,Rev.20:4)iscompletelyshredded,sincenoneofthecommitteeknewenough about the future to hazard a guess on the tides.Thewords“ANDSHALLBEEATEN”havebeenremovedfromIsaiah6:13,althoughtheywereDEFINEDinPsalm16:4; Psalm 44:22;Deuteronomy 32:32, 33; andLeviticus 1:4, 15. Prophecy obscured;prophecyobscuredonpurpose.Why?

XLII. Isaiah 9:3.CaseB: “You have enlarged the nation and INCREASEDTHEIRJOY,”haveyou?Not inanyMassoreticHebrewtextextantanywhereon thisearth.Theword“not”occursintheHebrewmanuscripts,exactlyasitispreservedintheHolyBible(AV). The apostate could not understand how a nation could be increased withoutrejoicing in it: they forgot the church age where Israel is increased and THENGOESINTOTRIBULATION.TheapostateabandonedtheHebrewtextsohecouldreduceyoutohislevelofignorance.

XLIII. Isaiah 14:13-14. Case E: Satan’s location has been carefully concealed bygettingridof thewords“SIDESOFTHENORTH.”Thisbroke thecross reference toPsalm48:2,whereNewJerusalemshowsupinthesameplace.SincenomodernapostatebelievesthatyoucanstandonthegroundandpointtothelocationofNewJerusalem,thetextwasmangled.Youonlyfind“theutmostheightsofthesacredmountain,”whichisn’tANYHEBREWTEXT:itisfiction.

Whowouldbesoanxioustoprotectthedevilthattheywoulddothat?

XLIV. Jeremiah 51:34. Case E: there is no “dragon” in the NIV. The “jackal”suddenly got converted into a “serpent.”TheHebrewwas תנין (tannin),which theNIVturned intoa jackal inJeremiah9:11,10:22,14:6,and49:33(samebook).Nowhegetssmashed,loseshislegs,ears,andfur,slithersoutontheground,andgrowsscales.Typicaltwentiethcentury,conservative“scholarship.”

The end results of such apostasy are manifold. In 1884 there began an attempt toreplacetheBiblical text thathadbroughtaboutagreaterrevivalof trueknowledgethananyBiblical text in theworld.Now(onehundredyears later),havingcome through theASVof1901,theRSVof1949,andtheNASVof1959,wegettotheNIVof1978,andwefindnothingbutattackafterattackafterattackoneverythingintheBookthatdestructivecriticsdon’tlike.Theyarenotjustapostate;theyaretotallyapostate.Theycouldnotbetrustedwith theoriginalmanuscripts if theyhad them.TheydoNOTstick to the “besttexts.”Theydonottranslate“uniformly.”Theydonotmakeanysense.Theyarenottruetowhathasbeenrevealed.Theycoverupwhatwasrevealed.Attimestheyshowalackofintelligence that is absolutely preposterous. They are not “faithful stewards” of the“mysteries,”andtheyareNOTabletoleaveaverseasitstandsifitisaimedattheirsinsorshortcomings.

This is theNew InternationalVersionof 1978. It is the ideal showcase formodernapostasy, as it has assembled and “collated” the accumulated blunders of unfaithful“stewards” for nearly one hundred years. Here we have a condensed ASV-NASV-RSV-NRSV-RV plus “Living Bible” in one volume between two covers. It is a scholarlymonument to the truth of 2 Thessalonians 2:3 and 2 Timothy 4:1-4. The NIV is thecapstoneof a paraffin pyramid composedof lying, falsified evidence, coveredup truth,partiality in selection of manuscripts, bloated opinions, wild conjectures, impossiblehypotheses,andout-and-outrejectionofadozenthingsintheBiblethatanunsavedmanwouldnotlike.Retainingenoughversessothatyoucan“leadsomeonetoChrist”(whichis trueof theNewWorldTranslationof the Jehovah’sWitnesses) and still find “all thefundamentals of the faith” (which can be found in theNew World Translation of theJehovah’sWitnesses),theNIVgivesus thefinalpictureofcompleteapostasywithin theBodyofChrist,beginningwithOrigen(whoquestionedboth1Tim.3:16andMark1:1-2)toBobJonesIII.Herecomemorecases:

XLV.Daniel8:25.CaseB:astheAntichristpreparestotakeovertheUnitedNationswithpeacetalks,theNIVstepsbravelyforwardtocover-upforhimanddeniesthathewilldestroymany“bypeace.”ThisrevelationofGodAlmighty,givenbytheHolySpirit,hasbeen erased, and insteadwe read that the popewill just destroy folks “when they feelsecure.”However,convicted that theyhadnotdoneenoughforSatan in thismatter, theNIVwentrightaheadinthesamebookandtwicemoreobliteratedthePapa’smethodof

operation.TheBiblesaidhewould“comeinpeaceably”(Dan.11:21)andwould“enterpeaceably” (Dan. 11:24). Both of these references were removed by the apostates ofLaodicea.TheytooktheAntichristoutofthepassagesothatitwassomeoneelsewhofelt“secure.” The Antichrist has no speeches about “peace” or pretensions about seeking“peace.”TheNIVdidforhimwhatnoatheistorCommunistwasabletodoforhim;theycoveredhistracksandthenerasedthewarningsgivenprevioustohisentranceonthestageofworldhistory.

XLVI.Hosea12:10.CaseA:oneofthemainkeystointerpretingtheBiblehasbeencompletely erased.We were told that God’s method of teaching was by “similitudes”(usingthewords“as”and“like”). It isbysimilitudes that the“invisible thingsofhimfrom the creation of the world are clearly seen…EVENHIS ETERNAL POWERANDGODHEAD,” (Rom.1:20).TheNIV reducesHosea to “I…told parables throughthem.”Theyweren’tparablesatall (see2Pet.2:22;Ps.19:5;Matt.13:43,24:37); theywereSIMILITUDES.Where JesusChrist did speak aPARABLE, theNIVknocked thewordoutofHismouthandsaiditwasjust“afigureofspeech,”(John10:6).Thereisnoremedyforapostasy;itawaitsjudgment.

XLVII.Micah5:2.CaseD: following the leadof theChrist-rejecting liberals in theNCCC (RSV), theNIV takesChrist’s“everlasting”origins fromHimandwhittles themdownto“ancienttimes.”ThisisdonewhileeveryapostateonthecommitteeprofessestobelieveintheDeityofChrist.

XLIX.Zechariah11:17.CaseB:inthewretchedNIVthecommitteevotestocoverupfor Satan again so that people will not see his connection with IDOLS. “The son ofperdition”hassuddenlybeenconvertedfrom“THEIDOLSHEPHERD” (AV) to“theworthless shepherd.”Not-withstanding,God saidhewouldbe a shepherd and an IDOLSHEPHERD(Rev.13:14-15).Inthesamebook,notthreechapterslater,theNIVtakesthenailsoutofChrist’s“hands”(13:6)andsidetracksyoutowoundsinHis“body.”

L. Malachi 1:3 and Isaiah 13:21. Case E: many, many centuries ago theFundamentalists who believed in the “plenary inspiration of the original autographs”foundproblems in the “original autographs” they couldnot “cope”with, so theydid tothemwhattheywoulddotodayiftheyhadthemtoday;theyalteredthemtomatchtheirown humanistic philosophies. The faculty ofBob Jones, TennesseeTemple andBaptistBibleCollegewere “alive andwell” in 200A.D. and talked about “contending for thefaith”thenexactlyastheytalkaboutitnow,whilecorrectingeverywordandeveryverseintheHolyBibletheycouldn’tunderstand.Notehowallofthe“dragons”and“satyrs”havedisappearedfromALLtheHebrewtextsinALLofthemodernEnglishtranslations.

When he saw thenominative(ευδοκια,eudokia)sittinginasecondcenturyKingJamesBible(Luke2:14)and realized it was a “King James Onlyism” reading, he immediately changed it to agenitive(ευδοκιας,eudokias)soitwouldmakesensetointelligent,godlyintellectualslikeHIMSELF. He knew that there had been no peace on earth since Christ came, so hedecidedthatamanlikehimself(whohada“goodwill”)wasentitledtothepeacewhereasOTHERSwerenot.

Nowhere is this intentionalcorruptionbetterpreserved than in theNIV,whichreads“onearthpeacetomenonwhomHISFAVORRESTS.”Thisstinkingpieceofhumanisticschmaltz is now recommended by nearly fifty Christian colleges and seminaries as“scripture.”When the writers of Vaticanus and Sinaiticus borrowedOrigen’s library atCaesarea tocreate theirphonyBibles forConstantine (330A.D.), they incorporated thereading for they, as Origen, were POSTMILLENNIALISTS. Being unable to “rightlydivide the word of truth” (notice that all of them got rid of that reading in all of themodern English translations), they could not understand the First and Second Adventpromises occurring together UNTIL Acts 7, so they did what any good, godlyFundamentalistatBJUwoulddo:theyalteredtheGreektexttomatchtheirownignoranceandthenalteredanothertexttocoverupthereasonfortheirignorance.

LIX.Luke23:42.CaseA:sooneror later,allapostatesbegin toslapat theDeityofChrist.Thenumberofslapstheytakedependsuponthenumberofpeopletheyaretryingto fool. If theyare in the right-wingofFundamentalism theywillonlypaste theLord’sDeityinthemouthinPhilippians2:6andActs4:27(theNKJV,translatedbythe“TextusReceptus”crowd).AlittlefurthertotheleftwiththeNIV,theywillslamHiminActs4,Philippians 2, 1 Timothy 3:16, and then again in Luke 23:42. The dying thief (who isgetting saved by grace) does not call upon “THELORD” (see Rom. 10:13) but only“Jesus.”This divests theLord Jesus ofHisDeity at the very place and time thatHe ismakinganETERNALPAYMENTFORSIN(Heb.9:14)TOREDEEMSINS(Heb.9:15)that couldnotbe takenawayby thebloodofbulls andgoats (Heb.10:4).Observe thatevery timea sinner is savedbyGRACE(Acts9:5-6;Acts8:37;Acts16:31) somethinggoes wrongwith the wording of themodern Biblical texts. It is as though a twentiethcentury Laodicean Christian is ELECTROCUTED every time he hits one of thesepassages.Outgoesallofverse37whentheeunuchissavedbygrace;outgotwentywordsinActs9whenPaulgetssaved,and“Christ”disappearswhen thePhilippian jailorgetssaved(Acts16).Salvationbygracehassomethingterribly“shocking”aboutittotheNIVcommittee.

LX. Luke 23:44-45. Case E: in keeping with TheWorld’sMost Unusual Hellhole(Alexandria), the NIV tries their best to placate Origen (eighteen centuries ago!) byimplyingthattherewasan“eclipse”ofthesun(anaturalphenomena)whenChristdied.

Origen,readingtheKingJames’sreading(εσκοτισθη,eskotisthe)changesittoεκλιποντος(eklipontos). It is obvious that he did this, for he quotes BOTH readings in hismanuscripts.He has dual authorities, evidently: anRSVon one table and anAVon theother. TheNIV splits the difference to stay in good with the Receptus crowd and theCatholicAlexandrians,givingus“for thesunstoppedshining.”The readingwillnotbefoundinANYGreektext.Itissheerpoliticalmaneuveringtoincreasesales.

LXI.John1:18.CaseD: thegreatestproof theJehovah’sWitnesseshavethatChristwasacreatedGod(theywerecalled“Arians”inOrigen’sday:A.D.200-500)isthisnovelinvention of the twentieth century apostates, who promoted the NASV of Bob JonesUniversity.Hereare foundbothGods: the“original”and theone thatwascreated.ThisBastionofBlockheadsthat“stoodwithoutapologyfortheabsoluteauthorityoftheBible”gavetheJehovah’sWitnessesthegreatesttexttheyneededtogetridoftheabsoluteDeityofChrist.NoteventheRSVandNRSVoftheNCCChadthiskindof“militancy.”ButtheNIVdoes; since it is the perfect accumulation and final compilation of every rats’ nest,dungheap,anddumpsterloadthatChristianapostatesevermessedwith.Itsaysthat“Noone has ever seen God, but GOD THE ONE AND ONLY, who is at the FATHER’SSIDE.”Itsplitsthedifference.

No apostate from A.D. 90 to A.D. 1990 did a better job. Marcion and Julian theApostatecouldn’ttouchascholarwhobelievestheNIVisa“Bible.”

LXII. John3:13.CaseD:Christhasoneproblem in theNIV,however, thatbeingabegottenGoddoesnotsolve.Unlike“God,”JesusChristisunabletobeinmorethanoneplaceatatime,sowhenHestatesHisomnipresencetoNicodemus,thefacultiesandstaffsofMoody, Fuller,Wheaton,BJU,BBC, PacificCoast,Denver,Dallas, andChicago dowhatanyapostateinthesecondcenturywoulddo:theythrowout“eventheSonofmanWHICHISINHEAVEN.”Thistimethedepravedapostatesof1990outdoOrigen,theirprofessor, forhe readsas theKINGJAMES: evidentlyhemusthavehada copyon thetable.

TheNIV, followingSinaiticus andVaticanus andP66 (which contains four hundreditacism,andtwohundrednonsensereadings,and482readingsFOUNDINNOOTHERGREEKMANUSCRIPTONTHEFACEOFTHISEARTH),removesthelastfourwords.

Even a Bible blockhead like Origen—who by the way quoted the New Testamentmorethanseventeenthousandtimesinhiswritings—knewthatasinner“inChrist”couldbeinmorethanoneplaceatatime(lookatEph.2:3,whichtheNIVcommitteehadaccessto).

LXIII. John 8:43, 47. Case A: following their habitual life-style—having a spasmeverytimethe“words”ofGodshowup(seeXXXII)—theapostatesoftheNIVslamintothese verses like Judas Iscariot hitting theWhite Throne Judgment. In their stumbling,bungling haste to attack everything in the Book, they forgot that the Book they weredestroying was ALIVE and would judge THEM (Heb. 4:12-13). Sure enough, here itcomes: “ye cannot hear my WORD,” and “He that is of God heareth GOD’SWORDS:yethereforehearTHEMnot,BECAUSEYEARENOTOFGOD.”

Thatwilldothejob.

No “good, godly, militant Fundamentalist” could stand such language, if he was

making a living using a Book he did not BELIEVE. So in keeping with every BibledenyinghypocritethatevermadealiaroutofGodtomaintainhisownauthority,theNIVsays,“youareunabletohearwhatIsay,”and“HewhobelongstoGodhearsWHATGodsays….”

“Words”donotappearinthetext.WORDShavenothingtodowiththeBible.

ThemenwhoabortedbothoftheseversescouldnotunderstandGod’sWORDS,andthey would not listen to God’s WORDS because they pretended that these WORDSdisappeared 1900 years ago.Theirwhole lives andministrieswere shams from start tofinish.(Youcouldn’tgetabettersummationofapostasyintheBodyofChristfromanyhistorybookintheworld.)

Anyapostatewill takearoundtripof forty thousandmiles just to takeaslapat theDeityofChrist.WhentheNIVgetstoActs1:3andisterrorizedhalfoutoftheirwitsby“INFALLIBLE PROOFS” for Christ’s literal Resurrection, they do just what everygodlessapostatesince1880did:theygotridoftheinfallibleproofs.WhentheygettoActs4:27theysuddenlydropGriesbach’s“canonsofcriticism”—whichsayyoushouldfollowthe“characteristic styleof theauthor”—andcontradictTHEIROWNTRANSLATIONSOFTHESAMEAUTHOR,WHOWROTELUKEANDACTS.InLuke2:17Christisa“child,” in Luke 2:21 and 2:27 He is a “child,” and according to the “belovedphysician,”Luke,Christisa“child” inLuke2:34,2:40,and2:43.Butno!WhenLukepensActs4:27and30hesuddenlyforgetshis“style”andwrites“SERVANT.”

LXV.Acts17:26.CaseE:being thoroughgoing race-mixers, like the racists in theNAACP,theNIVtranslatorsgetridofthe“blood”andinsert“man.”Thereisno“man”inanyGreekmanuscripton the faceof this earth.Thewordprecedingwasaneuterwordanyway (ενος, enos) and would not fit “man” (masculine). The next verse told theseapostatebunglersthatPaulcouldnothavebeenpromotingracialecumenicism;asamatterof fact, the latterhalf of the sameversewas so contrary to the theme suggestedby theapostates that theTownHallof theAir (back in1950)could not quote the entire verse,although FOUR SPEAKERS on that forum quoted the first half of the verse (seeSegregationorIntegration,1970).

LXVI.Romans 1.Case F: nowhere in any book is the vicious bias of the apostateagainst the Bible more manifest than here, where all of his “buddies” appear: theprofessors,theevolutionists,homosexuals,theheady,thehigh-minded,and,aboveall,thesinnerswhoKNEWGOD(v.21)butdidn’tlikewhatHerevealed,as“THETRUTH.”

HeretheNKJVsailsintotheBiblicaltextwiththesamevicious,killingdesignsthatwereused in theRVbyHort, theASVbySchaff, theRSVbyWeigle, and theNASVbyBobJonesUniversity.Outgoestheproperreadingforverse18.Youareonlyanapostateifyou“suppress the truth”; it is perfectly all right to “HOLD THE TRUTH INUNRIGHTEOUS-NESS”(seeAV text).Again inv.25(before theapostatehas time tobreathe,theHolySpiritcounterattacks)itisallrightifyou“CHANGEDTHETRUTHOFGODINTOALIE”(Mark1:2forexample,orActs17:26forexample,orJohn3:13forexample,or2Tim.2:15forexample,etc.)aslongasyouhaven’t“EXCHANGED”it.Ongoestheblind,charging,blunderingapostatethroughtherockpile,“dashinghisfoot”againststoneafterstoneandfinallywindingupflatonhisfaceinthegravel.Atverse28heistoldthatheisanapostateifhedoesn’t“retainGod”inhisknowledge.SinceheranGod out of hismental processeswhen he sat down to destroyGod’swords, he hastilyresorts to “dynamic equivalence to communicate to the receptor the true intent of theoriginal author” and gives us “they did not think it worthwhile to retain THEKNOWLEDGEOFGOD.”Godwasrunoutfor“knowledge.”

But after all, that is how all educated people go to hell, according to 1Corinthians1:21.

Sohereweare;sixty-sixtimesinarow,withoutdoingaway“withonemaindoctrine”or“onemainfundamentalofthefaith.”Herewearewithanaccumulatedpileofscholarlytrash from nineteen centuries, piled into one volume of irreligious claptrap that a soulwinner“canleadasoultoChristwith.”Thisiswhereweare(1990).Sixty-sixtimesinarow, and we are only halfway through the New Testament. Joseph is Christ’s “father”(Luke2:33),ChristisacreatedGod(John1:18)whoisnotomnipresent(John3:13),andis not God’s “child” (Acts 4:27) because the proofs of His resurrection are only“convincing,” not “infallible.” Here we are. Every translator, AS ALL OF THETRANSLATORSONTHENKJVCOMMITTEE, believed exactlywhat Curtis HutsonandBobJonesIIIbelieveaboutthe“infallible,inerrantwordofGod.”

Keep your heathen “pictures” (Num. 33:52).Don’t say “Lord” when you ask forsalvation (Luke 23:42). Change the truth of God into a lie, and kick God out of yourknowledgeasmuchasyouwanttoaslongasyoudon’t“suppress”thetruthandgetridofaKNOWLEDGEaboutGod(Rom.1:18,28).TaketheendingoffMark’sgospel(Mark16).Make a liar out of Isaiah (Mark 1:2).Get rid of the parables (John10:6), and callsimilitudesparables (Hosea12:10),and thensuggest thedevil isacrocodile (Job41:1).Cover-up for theAntichrist (Zech. 11:17,Dan. 11:21).Get rid ofChrist’s eternity as amemberoftheGodhead(Micah5:2),andcoverupthedoctrinaltruthsofsalvationintheOldTestament(Exod.34:7).Thenpretend,sohelpmeGod,thatyouarehelpingmodernmantoa“betterunderstanding”oftheBiblebyusing“theoriginallanguages”asafinalauthority.

Thatiswherewearein1990.Alongsidethiscrew,themosthypocriticalPhariseethateverlived(Matt.23)wasaSANCTIFIEDSAINT.

LXVII. Romans 3:25. Case E: forgetting that when they perverted Exodus 34:7 tomatchtheir theory(that“peopleintheOldTestamentweresavedbylookingforwardto

thecross”),theyhadsaid“hedoesNOTleavetheguiltyunpunished.”NowthewretchedapostatescrashintoRomans,dealingwiththesinsofExodus34,andsay,“HehadleftthesinscommittedbeforehandUNPUNISHED.”

TherewasnothinginRomans3:23aboutanyonepunishingornotpunishinganyone’ssins.Theversehad todowith the finished,completedbloodatonementofJesusChrist,which was the “REDEMPTION [look at vs. 24] OF THE TRANSGRESSIONSWHICH WERE UNDER THE FIRST TESTAMENT” (Heb. 9:15). God did not“forebear” to punish Cain, Abel, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Noah, David, Moses,Jehoshaphat, Josiah, Elijah, or Elisha. His “forbearance” (AV) was REMITTING sinswithoutREDEEMING them (Heb. 9:15).
