their new Sunday School classes.

M & M Kickoff Wednesday, August 13

5:40 p.m. Begin in the preschool lobby to register your

child and meet their teachers. Graded choirs meet at 5:40 p.m. and leaders

take them to Missions at 6:20 p.m. Children are dismissed at 7:00 p.m.

Bibles Bibles will be presented to our 1st and 2nd

graders on Sunday, August 17 in the morning worship service.

Atlanta Adventure We will leave early on Saturday, August 9th and return Sunday evening the 10th. This trip includes students entering the 7th-12th grade.

6th Grade Parent Meeting We will have a parent meeting tonight for the new 6th graders coming into the youth group. Our meeting will be in the gym lobby right

after the evening service. This meeting is very important so please

plan to be here.

into our student ministry.

WELCOME Our Welcome Center has been moved from the fellowship hall into the foyer near the water fountains. When you bring or meet visitors, come by and pick up brochures for the appropriate area of ministry. Greeters will

be stationed at a table to assist.

Save the Date There will be a Women’s Retreat on October 10-11 at Zidon Avisha. Mark you calendar and pray about bringing a friend. God wants to do an amazing work in and through you.

Dream BIG - Start small.

Ladies’ Bible Studies Please join us this fall as we study Gideon by Priscilla Shirer. We will begin on Wednesday,

August 20 at 5:45 p.m. in room 106. Workbooks are available at LifeWay but are not required to attend the class. This is a

7-session DVD driven study.

The Tuesday morning ladies’ Bible study begins September 9. We are using Priscilla

Shirer’s Discerning the Voice of God: How to Recognize When God Is Speaking.

We meet in room 106 at 9:30 a.m. Call Bonnie Branyon if you would like to

join our group.

Transform TEACHING THAT CHANGES LIVES

This conference is being held at Government Street Baptist Church in Mobile on Saturday, August 16. Cost is $35.00 and you can register online at ALSBOM.com. Let Steve Brown know if you plan to attend.

Family Night Supper Family night suppers will resume this week- Wednesday, August 6. Be sure to make your reservation by Monday. The regular meal is $3.50 and pizza is $3.00. This week’s menu is:
