On December 6th, more than 150 campers and staff members came together at Space Odyssey in Englewood NJ for our annual Winter Reunion.

While the weather was cold outside, the feeling inside was warm and fuzzy! What an amazing time it was! It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces and also see how much our campers have grown up since last summer. Braces on, braces off and inches grown! However, the ear-to-ear smiles stayed as big and bright as they were during the summer. We had campers join us from as far as Florida, Philadelphia and Maryland helping to make the 2009 camp reunion our most widely attended reunion to date! We thank all of the parents who dropped off their children and hope you had a great time too.

Space Odyssey is an indoor recreation center and we had the entire building for our private use for 3 hours. Campers were each given a game card and were able to choose from

many different activities such as: bowling, laser tag, video games, small amusement rides and basketball. Combining all of these great activities with a great lunch and a lot of catching up with each other was a sure road to success. There is nothing like seeing your camp friends to help get you through the long winter and remind you that camp is coming.

We all sang along to the amazing music from the 2009 Summer Greatest Hits CD that was given out as a reunion gift. The CD was filled with so many of the camp songs that we all listened to on a regular basis throughout summer 2009. The best part is that we can all enjoy the CD at home and keep reliving our summer memories!

A special thanks to all of our staff who were able to join us as we know how happy it made our campers! With 2009 officially behind us, we now turn all our attention to making summer 2010 the best ever!!!

Camp Lindenmere to their family, friends and classmates.

We know that there are many different summer options

for children and we are proud that our campers think

that Lindenmere is “the only place to spend their

summer”. This feeling is prevalent throughout our camp

community and we are flattered by your praise as there

is no better compliment than your continued support and

recommendations.

If you are planning on enrolling or have friends that would

like to enroll for Summer 2010, we encourage you to call

the camp office ASAP as space has become extremely

limited. Our strong enrollment trend has continued and we

are still months ahead of last year’s enrollment pace. For

first session, we have now closed out several bunks and

have limited availability in many age groups.

If you are enrolled, but considering extending, second

session has already surpassed last years enrollment and

because of this, we will be limited for extensions during

the summer.

The excitement is rising inside of me,The closer it gets, the more people see.

I just can’t wait for s’mores by the fire,And outdoor adventure, where I climb higher and higher.

Water parks every Thursday, we do every ride,And flying trapeze…but there’s no need to hide!

Everything you do at Lindenmere is all fun, fun, fun,I just can’t wait until the school year is done.

There are so many majors, so many minors,

I just can’t choose, I can’t decide which is finer.Swimming, skateboarding, circus, and baseball,

Archery, figure skating, fitness, to work all.Golf, gymnastics, horseback riding, and running,

Tennis, yoga, karate, all too stunning.Go karts, biking, basketball, and football,

Hockey, lacrosse, soccer, until you fall.Softball, volleyball, kickball, and juggling,

Lira, magic, silks, soon you’ll be struggling.Trapeze, candle-making, ceramics, and crafts,

Drawing, heat press, jewelry, just typing this is making me daft.Knitting, cooking, dance, and music,

All of this is just really too sick.Boating, fishing, hiking, and nature,

But the bears stay away, so you aren’t in any danger. I am only halfway through,

But seriously, I don’t want to bore you.So, my friends, I now am done,

But I sure am ready for a summer full of fun!

Every Year on New Years Day I know it’s just 5 more months until I leave for camp. Each

year on June 1, I arrive at camp for approximately 10 weeks. It’s so exciting and of course the best part is when our kids arrive.

That’s when the magic starts!! The property awakens with life, incredible life!!

However, for now, our camp is hibernating. Covered with snow it anxiously awaits spring time as do we all!! For now, the excitement is hearing about the campers and staff that are returning and how

excited the new campers and staff are for the upcoming summer. Each day, new and returning names contact us and sign up for Camp 2010. Our permitting has gone through for the new gymnasium and we are finalizing the plans for our brand new Skate Park. Evening activities are being booked and finalized. Each day of camp is being analyzed and scrutinized, keeping what worked and changing what didn’t. The excitement is just starting again and will build and build until we are all together again at camp in 140 days!!!

The weather may be cold, but the word about Lindenmere is hot! We have had more enrollments than ever before and we are excited to have such a great bunch of kids!

Our always popular state of New Jersey brings us Rachel Mintz. Rachel loves both theater and horseback and can’t decide which she enjoys more- good thing she won’t have to choose! Jordan Allyn is excited to spend time in our amazing art center. Carson King had such an amazing summer in 2009 that she is bringing her good friend Iris Goldman to Lindenmere this summer. So excited to have you Iris! Ross Kaufman can’t wait to hit our sports fields, go Ross! When Alexa Volpe is not on our basketball courts we know we can find her jamming out in rock shop.

The great state of New York is bringing us some great kids. Brother and sister Joanna and Bentley Macleod are excited for their first summer at camp. Look for Joanna sculpting in pottery, while Bentley is looking forward to playing on our new sports fields. Great to have you both! Kate Mullin visited us at camp, and loved what she saw! Look for Kate playing hoops, or climbing on our climbing tower. Allison Hupper is so excited to climb on our awesome outdoor adventure course. She is a major adventure seeker! Allison is being joined by her best friend Zoe Orlin. Zoe is looking forward to creating culinary masterpieces in cooking. New York is bringing us another brother sister team. We welcome Benjamin and Alana Deitch. We can’t wait to see Benjamin and Alana in action in our rock shop, pool and arts and crafts building. Angelina Ghirarduzzi is so excited for her first summer at Lindenmere. Look for Angelina in the theater and the art center. Jason Rosenthal is so excited for camp he is bringing his sister Julie Rosenthal with him. Welcome Rosenthal family! Julie wants to share her excitement too so she is bringing her great friend Alison Lieberman with her. Look for Julie and Alison in our amazing circus program. Big sister Sophia Scheibeler will be busy singing and playing volleyball, while her little sister Millie is psyched for go karts and ice skating. One sister is a performer, while the other sister is a thrill seeker! Sophia’s friend Ilana Hill will be joining her as well.

Look for Ilana in our stables. Bryan Brager is looking forward to spending time in our media center producing, directing and editing. We may have a future Spielberg here! Halle Friedman is joining us from Manhattan. Halle is super excited to ice skate in the summer and try out our amazing circus program.

David Hirschheimer is also joining us from NY. David is a big athlete so look for him on our basketball courts and baseball fields.

Our camp’s home state of Pennsylvania always brings us wonderful campers. Brothers Jacob and Sam Linker are looking forward to an amazing summer. Sam is excited to join our Lindenmere baseball team and Sam is excited to check out our lake. Ellie Willkomm had such a great time at camp last summer she is bringing her big sister Emily with her this year. We are so excited to have you both!

The sunshine state of Florida once again brings us smiling faces for the summer. Kimberly Haft is looking forward to zipping on our zip line and rocking out in rock shop. Big brother Alexander Blanchard is excited to share Camp Lindenmere with his little brother Alrik Blanchard. These boys are excited to try everything!

Maryland brings us Elie Plaster. Look for Elie flying through the air on our amazing flying trapeze.

Connecticut brings us Elfine Dexter. Elfine is excited for cooking and outdoor adventure. Sarah Lelusic is joining us for an unbelievable summer. Look for Sarah in our outdoor adventure program! Kylie Kamienski is excited to try horseback riding and ice skating. Good thing we have both!

The wonderful state of Virginia brings us Adam Starr. Adam is excited to hit out go kart tracks.

The beautiful country of France has brought us many wonderful children in the past. Please help us welcome Elsa and Jeremy Afriat, Salome Paoli, Cleophei Razakarivony and Noemi Levy.

In order to help your family shop for our uniform as well as other camp necessities, we have once again partnered with the Cloz Company. Cloz puts together a “Roadshow” which travels around the Northeast and Florida through early April. At the Roadshow, your camper(s) can actually try on the clothing and have it fitted properly. If you purchase name tapes, the Cloz

Company also sews them onto clothing at no additional fee. The Cloz Company carries everything from optional and required Lindenmere logo apparel to other camp clothing as well as camp accessories. The Roadshow schedule can be found at:
