Our Division is called Division

42; it is broken up into two different

parts. We were formerly Division 42 WA

and our sister Division was Division 42

OR. But we changed some clubs

around so now both divisions have

some clubs in each state. The official

names are still yet to be decided but

we are leaning towards something like

42 East and West.

Here are some fun facts about our

Divisio

Meet your Division

Orca Points Orca Points is a reward system that

gives points to clubs for various things

(i.e. turned in reports on time, coming

to DCMs, doing service projects,

anything that involves the district or

division).

I will be keeping track of the Orca

points and will update you on where

each club is at with theirs in every

newsletter.

This will be the second year that this

system has been implemented, so

some clubs may be more familiar with

this than others.

Hello and welcome to the

new and larger Division 42 East. We

recently changed the names of

Division 42: Division 42 WA became

Division 42 East and Division 42 OR

became Division 42 West. This is

because we rearranged the clubs

that are in each Division. And 42 WA

had two clubs that were in Oregon so

it made sense to change the names.

- Past Lieutenant Governors of

Our Division:

- Bradlee Thielen 2014-2015

- Emma Temples 2013-2014

- Caleena Phillips 2013

- Alex Schmidt 2012-2013

- Frank Nelson 2011-2012

The club with the most Orca points will

have a Pizza/Cookie party! And yes, the

cookies will be Emma cookies.

FUN FACTS!

- We are the only division that has

two sections run by two

Lieutenant Governors

- Our mascot is the ORCA!

- Our Colors are Black and White

- Our Division consists of 6 schools:

R.A.Long, Three Rivers Christian,

Kelso, Toutle Lake, St. Helens, and

Columbia County Education

Campus

WHAT’S NEW?

New Executive Board From Left to Right; Lisa Antonio, District

Governor, Ik Hoon Jung, District Secretary,

Aneesh Pappu, District Treasurer, and Jenny

Zhang, District Editor

Goodbye Trang! Trang Tran was our District Governor during the

2013- 2014 term. And the Pacific Northwest Key

Club is honored to have her. She was an

amazing District Governor.

DID YOU LOVE DCON?

95% Of people thought DCON was incredible and

they cannot wait until next year so they can go

again! The other 5% are sad they are seniors

and can’t go to the next one.

DCON

The 65th Annual District

Convention was exactly like we

said it would be, insane. It was

chalk full of informational forums,

amazing speeches and bursting

with fun.

A few words from the people who

came:

“This was such a fun experience! I

am so glad I came. Not only was

it great because it was in Seattle

but also because Key Club is

great. DIVISION 42!” – Brian

Sanchez, Media Chair, R.A.Long

“My favorite part was definitely the

Governor’s Ball because I got to get

my twerk on! Also the sessions were fun

too, and oh yeah the spirit war!” – Elisa

Martinez, Secretary of Division 42 East,

Kelso

do so well in this position and

represent us all well at the district

level. Though I will no longer be

your Lt.G, I am considering my

options in running for another

position in key club.

I wish you all the best of

luck and to have a fantastic term.

Thank you all for everything!
