FOURTH SUNDAY OF EASTER
FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK….
An emergency collection will be taken up this
weekend for humanitarian aid and the needs of the
Churches devastated by the storms in many
regions of the United States; some began in the
South and Midwest before Christmas 2015. This
emergency, one-time special appeal is intended to
cover needs created by these and future 2016
domestic storms. To donate, make your check
payable to the parish—in the memo portion write:
`15/`16 Calamities. Our parish will send one check
to Catholic Charities and 100% of the donations
will go to the National Collection for Calamities
Relief.

FAMILY LIFE NEWS:
Our Catholic traditions continue….Join us on Sunday,
May 1st, after the 10:00 Mass to honor our Blessed Mother
Mary, Mother of Jesus and our Mother also, with our
traditional May Crowning. We crown Mary as Queen of
heaven and of our hearts—she who brought Jesus into our
world and into our lives. After Mass, follow Fr. Jim to the
flower garden outside of church. A Mary hymn, a decade
of the Rosary for peace in ourfamilies and in our world, a
Litany to Mary and then—sweet treats and surprises.
Come, come, come! (In case of rain, we will move into the
Knights Chapel.)
