Once you have dones this you will be taken to the to the NCORE 2017 Guide homepage. Select the bubble in the top right to open three options: Sign in using your Facebook account, sign in using an email account, or log in if you have already created a guidebook account. 10. Once there you can search the whole guide for keywordsthat you may be interested in. Try a few out and see whatsessions come up! In the example I searched “StudentAffairs” – which is one of the NCORE keywords! After that, cancel out and click the first menu item “FAQs”.

11. Here is the “FAQs” homepage. Feel free to check anycategory for answers to questions. On the side you can see I clicked into the “About NCORE” tab. Now let’s go back out by clicking the back arrow and then the three dashes again, and this time selecting the “Southwest Center for Human Relations Studies Executive Committee Members” icon.

12. Most features in the guide display similarly, and are veryuser friendly. Here is what the new tab looks like, tryscrolling to “Jeanette R. Davidson”. Within this you canread all about some of the executive committee members, just as you would in the printed program guide. Now let’sback out to the main menu and access the most importantfeature: the “Schedule” feature!

13. This is what the basic schedule will look like. Toaccess information on any session simply tap thesession! You can also navigate the day by clicking theday at the top, and sessions are listed in order by starttime, so by scrolling you can access the rest of theday’s sessions.

14. Once you enter a session you will see its session IDnumber, title, date & time, session type, location, and description. Tapping the location will bring up the digital map. Try scrolling to the bottom of the 1st session on Wednesday (2100) now.

15. At the bottom of each session is a box highlighting the presenters, keywords associated with the session (which can be used to link you to any additional sessions for that presenter or sessions associated with the selected keyword), and a “Evaluate this Session” button. After attending a session you can use this button to digitally evaluate it– reducing the need for paper evaluations! Now back out to the main schedule using the back arrow.

16. Navigate to the Thursday (June 1st) part of theschedule. At this point, I want to tell you about one of the awesome features in guidebook the “My Schedule” feature. As you can see in this image, on the right next to each session is a small “+” sign. Find a session you would be interested in attending like “3100 Maximizing on Your Students’ Experience at NCORE” and tap that small “+” sign next to that session.

17. You will then be prompted to add that session to your“My Schedule” tab. You can set a reminder on anyitems you add to your “My Schedule” tab. You can justclick “None” if you would like no reminder. Try adding acouple sessions you might be interested in attendingusing this same method.

18. Once you have added a couple sessions, try backing outand then selecting the “My Schedule” tab from the main menu. Using this feature will help you organize which sessions you wish to attend at the conference!! This is an example of what a “My Schedule” may look like. Tapping the check mark will remove the session from your “My Schedule” tab. Next, I will show you examples of a few other features available from the main menu.
