Material recycling made easy with the UNI-CUT® Series Querstromzerspaner QZ. The machine
has no cutting tools and for that very reason has a number of advantages compared to conven-
tional systems.
The QZ concentrates on taking the input material to pieces but avoids breaking down the
individual components and parts. This means quicker access to the dismantled materials while
simultaneously avoiding the possible escape of hazardous substances.
With variable drum diameter and power ratings of up to 315 kW, the QZ also makes possible a
wide range of applications. This can be as a stand-alone machine or as the heart of a large instal-
lation with continuous high-throughput operation; as a self-contained system or even in an open
continuous-flow process. The machine offers fast and efficient way to break down materials into
their composite parts.

Flexible rotating tools accelerate the input material at adjustable speeds. The material is opened up through collision of the various fragments.The different physical properties of the materials determine the grain size of the product. Individually adjustable parameters determine form, size and quality of the opened-up material.
Wearing tools such as rotating and stationary knives or granulating sieves are dispensed with. Around 80% of the shredding takes place simply through collision of the acce-lerated input material. The accelerating tools can be changed quickly in less than 15 minutes. Optimal opening of composite materials within a very short running time and thus lower wear costs. PCBs laid bare
