1.Jesus uses people who are already

doing the right things. (v.1)

Now Peter and John were going up to

the temple at the hour of prayer. . .(v.1)

2. Jesus uses people who can be

interrupted.

And a man lame from birth was being carried,whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple

that is called the Beautiful Gate to ask alms of

those entering the temple. Seeing Peter and

John about to go into the temple, he asked toreceive alms.

3. Jesus uses people who pay attention

to needs.

And Peter directed his gaze at him as did John,and saidLook at us.

4. Jesus uses people who inspires

hope in others.

And he fixed his attention on them, expecting

to receive something from them. (v.5)

they have.

But Peter said I have no silver and gold,

but what I do have I give to you, In the Name

of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.

to get all the glory.

And His name, by faith in His name has madethis man strong whom you see and know, and

the faith that is through Jesus has given the man

this perfect health in the presence of you all. (v. 16)

intimidated.

And when they had set them in the midst, they

inquired, By what power or by what name did

you do this? (Acts 4: 7)

with the Holy Spirit.

Then Peter filled with the Holy Spirit, said

to them, Rulers of the people and elders.

boldness to share the truth.

And when they saw the boldness of Peter

peter and John answered them, Whether it is

right in the sight of God to listen to you rather
