THE PEOPLE WHO INSPIRED ME

In 2014 Sochi will host the Winter Olympic Games. Athletes and fans are looking forward to this event. In Russia a lot of people are keen on sports.

Some of them are fond of winter sports. As for me, I love biathlon.This kind of sport allows me to stay in good shape.Some people inspire me to go in for biathlon.

Skiing is my family hobby. My grandfather was a ski racer.My daddy is interested in alpine skiing. My mum is fond of cross-country skiing and

loves walking in the woods.

I began going in for biathlon when I was 12. My mum recommended it to me. I started training with a wonderful young coach Pavel Alexandrovich Radyuk. He is a good sportsman and I am proud of him.

Maybe, I won’t be a champion. But biathlon helps me to build my character, it teaches me to win and to lose. It makes me more organized and better disciplined in my daily activities. Besides, it is a good way to meet people and to make new friends.
