Narrative Ideas- Story -
- “The story follows a boy during his his girlfriend’s birthday and how he treats her such as buying her a flower and treating her to a day out, clearly showing that the couple are happy. The other side takes place a year after the left side. It also follows the boy during his girlfriend’s birthday, but it’s obvious that he’s sadder and depressed compared to the previous year. We again follow the routine he does which is similar to the other half”
• Twist ending.
• Reinforces the drama of the story and the
emotionality of the song

The Story So Far - Clairvoyant
Lyrics I think you’ll notice when things become differentThe good vibes in our lives won’t feel so consistentAnd less becomes more cause the weight is too heavyI swim in the water that’s breaking your levee
The way that you left me is alright, it’s alrightIf I argue the point then we yell and we fightAnd I won’t be home for the rest of the nightYou might hate my words but you know that I’m rightYou know that I’m right
This is your life, there’s no way to run from itThe doubt in your brain or the pain in your stomachI only have but one complaint at the momentDon’t paint me black when I used to be golden
The way that you left me is alright, it’s alrightIf I argue the point then we yell and we fightAnd I won’t be home for the rest of the nightYou might hate my words but you know that I’m rightYou know that I’m right
Don’t paint me black when I used to be golden
