Achieving the goals on premature mortality (30–69 years) from noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) • A 1.5% relative annual
reduction in overall premature mortality from cardiovascular disease (CVD), cancer, diabetes or chronic respiratory diseases until 2020
• A 25% relative reduction in risk of premature mortality from CVD, cancer, diabetes or chronic respiratory diseases by 2025
• A reduction of premature mortality from NCDs by one third by 2030

Progress on alcohol: a mixed picture and ongoing challenges
Alcohol consumption in the WHO European Region decreased
11% between 1990 and 2014.
However, alcohol-attributable deaths increased by 4%.
