Training Central provides cable avoidancetraining across all industry sectors - ourexperienced team of manufacturer certified trainers provide comprehensive and structured training courses that fill gaps in skills andknowledge at various levels from ground worker to construction manager.

Technology Central helps Central Alliancedevelop the growing appetite for technologyled pre-construction services, with a track record in introducing proven technologies such assatellite monitoring into more traditionalservices, helping to improve their accuracy and transform their delivery.

Health & SafetyCentral Alliance is committed to continuously improving its standard of health and safety throughout its operations. Our experienced SHEQ Director provides leadership in health and safety matters by engaging and training our workforce in the achievement of safe and healthy working conditions and promoting best practice – as a result, our RIDDOR record is at 0.

Our weekly H&S staff newsletter covers health and safety training issues, best practiceguidelines and benchmarking procedures that help us to improve performance. We have also started a regular project based improvement forum to establish our position against our H&S environment vision, including adherence to quality systems and establishing customerexperience from a health and safety perspective on every project we undertake.

2014 March - Working on a large MOD project providing surveying and geotechnical solutions for LendLease was one of our major projects of the year.

2014 June - Central Alliance Pre-Construction Services Limited acquires Drift Ground Investigation (established 2006).

2014 Nov - Central Alliance formally agrees to promote satellite monitoring services with Airbus Defence & Space, leading the industry into the realms of satellite technology to assist with access to accurate and reliable data that is critical to monitoring and analysing assets and geographical areas..

2015 Jan - The start of our involvement at Harbury Cutting with J Murphy keeps Geo Central busy and CA is highly commended for its contribution to the project from Network Rail

2016 July - Central Alliance officiallyopens new offices at Wakefield 41 Business Park in order to accommodate growing teams.

2016 June - Central Alliance hitstargets and more than doublesturnover with plans to more thandouble again for the comingfinancial year.

2015 June - Training Central starts aprogramme of cable avoidance training for Network Rail Tier1 Contractorsincluding Story Contracting and AMCO.

2015 Nov - Central Alliance invests over £750k in equipment & technology to form a specialist geotechnical division, including a new Fraste PL G Multidrill a modular drill rig for remote access and a platform rig for steep slopesand embankments.

2016 Dec - Sign 4 year rail framework agreement with Murphy Group. Central Alliance has now gained over 35years of work from framework agreement with various contractors.

2016 Jan - Following the devastation caused by Storm Desmond and the bad weather that followed, Central Alliance responds to 5 emergency works projects and deploys specialist drilling rigs indifficult to access areas and servicesincluding slope monitoring, UAVsurveys and CCTV surveys

2016 Aug - Central Alliance expansion of in-house surveying and geotechnical teams surpasses 50 full time employees.
