Paliocrom® Brilliant Gold L 2050
Key benefi ts
• exceptional high chroma • exceptional high lightness • slight sparkle effect• excellent hiding power • excellent durability
Main applications:
• high-quality automotive fi nishes (OEM & refi nish)
• industrial paints• plastic coatings (e.g., cell phones,
TV sets, computers etc.)
The fi rst member of the Paliocrom® Brilliant series was the recently launched Paliocrom® Brilliant Orange L 2850 which extended so far the achievable color space with its exceptionally high intensity and purity of color, gloss and sparkle. Paliocrom® Brilliant Gold L 2050 is the second member of this series and has been designed for golden, orange as well as red metallic stylings and visual effects. Thanks to the very high chroma and lightness of this new effect pigment, designers will be enabled to create eye-catching effects and to differentiate their products better in an increasingly competitive market.
Paliocrom® Brilliant Gold’s performance makes it especially recommended for use in high-quality automotive fi nishes, industrial paints and coatings for computers, communication devices and consumer goods. Paliocrom® Brilliant Gold L 2050 – an incredibly rich and vibrant gold that in combination with other effects or colored pigments provides opportunities for a wide variety of different stylings.
The richest gold, which can also be used across the entire
color spectrum. At BASF, we create chemistry.
BASF is introducing a new level of brilliance: The Paliocrom® Brilliant series! Paliocrom® Brilliant is a further development based on aluminum fl akes of the thin silver dollar type, which has a very narrow particle size distribution. Paliocrom® Brilliant grades show much higher brilliancy than the well-established standard Paliocrom® grades and are recommended for extremely chromatic and light shades with a slight sparkle effect.
