Step 7The CounterargumentStudents affected by the SL will not increase motivation. This is actually false. When the students begin to realize that completing homework increases their grades, overall GPA, and success later in life, they will become more motivated.

Students will not sign-up to peer tutor unless they are getting paid. False! Students who peer tutor will earn community service hours and learn the value of hard work and dedication. These tutors will also be more likely to earn other privileges in school and at home.
