Mad MaxA movie based of off life after a nuclear fallout that goes to the extreme

The Terminator NeoTerminator is a killing machine that learns how to love and have feelings

Lives in a regular utopia and figure out the dystopian society that really exists

Katniss Everdeen

A girl that shows the compassion and bravery of the people in a dystopian society

Mad Max· Mad Max· Is an very violent character· Has a torn characteristic from his past· Cares most about the fuel in the dystopian future so he can drive further to find the Utopia.· Keeps on seeing his past which changed his characterises which change through the event in which they kill his family.· With Max once following the law (being a cop) but now in the dystopian wasteland not caring what gets into his way and being very careless.

NeoFinds out that his whole life he has been living in a computer simulation.He gets over his shock and feels as if he needs to save the people that are still trapped

inside the simulation.Neo almost shown as Christ with him being resurrected at the end of the first film and is

shown as a figure to the people of the dystopia as he wages a war against the robots

When neo meet Morpheus he can chose between the red pill and the blue pill. The red pill has him keep on living inside the utopia and forget about the outside dystopia. But the blue pill showing you the truth about the real world. As we know Neo chooses the blue pill and It opens his eyes to what is perfect world is really happening

From then on Neo becomes the fearless fighter for the human race and is very depended on taking down the computers

Neos emotions are also very strong when his girlfriend dies and all he wants is for the machines to be destroyed and for nothing to stand in his way.

This Shows that this protagonist acts different when he is out of the utopia and that he knows that his whole life he has been lied to this changes his personality a lot.

Terminator

The terminator never shows a lot of emotion

Later models of the terminator have a better capacity for emotion

One consistent trait is the color of eyes when the machine is on or off

The newer models can learn and do learn how to feel

Katniss

Katniss is a strong independent girl who is much more mature than her age

She is rebellious as laws say no going past the fence but she still goes

We always see in the book that she doesn't change and does not seek glory

We always see compassion in the way she deals with people, and only kills when necessary

Compare to art

In art you can find a lot of the same themes and characteristics of a dystopian character/person. There is lots of art which features utopian and dystopian. Some similar traits of the character is confusion or self reliance also bravery are very common.

Consistent Traits

Consistent Traits in a dystopian protagonist is bravery courage and ability to have empathy for others. Dystopian protagonist are usually the leaders or the rouge of a group and work to change the current day.
