LANDFILL

REUSE CENTRE IN LJUBLJANA

• In the past ten years Snaga has been focusing on raising awareness

of the importance of recycling and has successfully educated

citizens on how to recycle everyday items.

FEBRUARY 2014: SNAGA REACHES MORE THAN 55% OF SEPARATE WASTE COLLECTION.

• Even though people are getting used to recycling, they are not yet

familiar with the philosophy of reuse.

• Snaga decides to move up the waste hierarchy from recycling

to actively promoting reuse and waste prevention.

• In order to promote reuse and responsible behavior toward

the environment and society at large, Snaga launches

a socially responsible initiative Get used to reuse.

• Main aim of the initiative is to

• MAKE AN IMPACT ON THE BEHAVIOUR AND VALUES OF CITIZENS IN THE DIRECTION OF ADOPTING THE PHILOSOPHY OF REUSE AND WASTE PREVENTION IN

THEIR EVERYDAY LIFE.

THANK YOU

FOR YOUR ATTENTION.
