Jump for Jane Our annual Skydive, Jump for Jane is taking
place on Saturday October 25 and we would
love you to come on down and be part of the
fun. The skydives are sold out but you can join
us in Langley Park to support the 24 people
jumping. Bring a picnic and get involved in fun
games and activities for what is sure to be a
great day.

We’re finally moving! The building is ready, the removalists are booked and the date is set. after many
years of planning and preparation, we are finally moving! Our new home will be
in Cottesloe at the Cancer Wellness Centre and will provide more space for more
specialsed staff and activities, and a tranquil and positive healing environment.
The move date is set for 24 October and we will keep you updated as to how things
are progressing in the new building. When we have settled we look forward to
seeing you there and showing you around!

We are very excited to
announce that we are one of
the finalists for THE OrangE
SEED PrOJECT competition to win a $115,000
gift package. This package would make a massive difference to our work and those
we support. We will be
working hard to create a 3 minute
video and then it will be down to YOu to vote for the winner. We hope you

New volunteering opportunities

volunteer at our support group Christmas Party! for the third year running we are bringing together our wonderful clients to kick back and relax and celebrate the
festive season. This is a very special event when we remind our clients how special and amazing they are.
We need you to help us with this. If you are free on mOnDaY 8 DECEmBEr and interested in hospitality based volunteer roles, email [email protected] get in quick as spaces are limited.
LEgEnDS fOOTBaLL LEaguE IS BaCk!This is a unique opportunity to see some live and exciting sport, meet some new friends and make a world of difference by raising funds to support Wa families affected by breast cancer! We are seeking enthusiastic, fun volunteers to shake a tin at the upcoming Perth angels Legends football League games. Our Wa angles had a great season in 2013 and are kicking it all off again in October at nIB stadium!
grab a friend and shake a tin for a good cause before the game and during interval, then grab a hot dog and support the team during the game! If you are free, get in touch-we would love to see you there!
Where would we be without you?Our heartfelt thanks to all of our practical assistance volunteers who work away in
the background, continually committing time and compassion to help our clients
when they need it most. for all of the transport, gardening, child minding, home
help and friendship you offer our clients, we are so appreciative. You are true
heroes and heroines-don’t ever change!
We always need more volunteers on this program to meet the expanding need
for support. If you want to help, come and join the team!

23rd IAVE World Volunteering Conference
This year’s International Association for
Volunteer Effort conference will be held on the
Gold Coast between 17-20 September with
renowned speakers such as Richard Dictus
(United Nations volunteers) and Michael Kirby
(Australia’s longest serving high court judge) in attendance. The theme Is
VOLUNTEERING: TODAY’S IMERTATIVE with a focus on building stronger and
