Global Vice President, e Registry Collection Program Dear Member, Welcome to 2013. I hope you had a wonderful holiday and were able to connect with your family and friends – if not in person, at least through a phone chat or spending extra time rereading family letters. I also hope you came out of that hectic season with a renewed commitment and a New Year’s resolution to stay connected with those you cherish most. at’s exactly what happened in my house. Like many of you, my wife and I have teenage kids who (can I say this?) exhaust us. We love them dearly but we looked at each other and realized we hadn’t been away together without them for quite a while. We talked with a few of our friends who were “in the same boat” and all came to the same conclusion: we needed a hassle-free cruise without the kids. is was going to be a true adult friends’ trip. We agreed on a couple of dates and chose one of our friends—a member of e Registry Collection program—to call our Reservation Consultant. We’re now booked for a voyage in May. Done! I’ll post a picture in a future newsletter. Now it’s your turn. Don’t let any more time pass before you act on your pledge to take your true love someplace new or get together with your group of best friends. Our luxury cruise program is an amazing option. So is going to a new destination during off-season. In the past few months I visited our resorts in Bali, Indonesia, Zimbali, South Africa, Vermont and Cancun—each in the off-season—and I can honestly say they all had so much to offer, including no crowds. For your trip, maybe the best reason to go is simply to be together rather than having to be at the hottest vacation spot in at the busiest time of the year. Be honest: you just had a hectic holiday season. Wouldn’t it be nice to enjoy a stress-free trip, just going somewhere to relax and reconnect? I bet everyone looks to you to suggest and book cool places to visit; after all you are the “Expert Avid Traveler” given your membership in e Registry Collection program. You don’t need to shoulder that entire burden, however. Our Reservation Consultants are expert stress-relievers. I hope you had a wonderful holiday and were able to connect with your family and friends – if not in person, at least through a phone chat or spending extra time rereading family letters. I also hope you came out of that hectic season with a renewed commitment and a New Year’s resolution to stay connected with those you cherish most. � at’s exactly what happened in my house.

Like many of you, my wife and I have teenage kids who (can I say this?) exhaust us. We love them dearly but we looked at each other and realized we hadn’t been away together without them for quite a while. We talked with a few of our friends who were “in the same boat” and all came to the same conclusion: we needed a hassle-free cruise without the kids. � is was going to be a true adult friends’ trip. We agreed on a couple of dates and chose one of our friends—a member of � e Registry Collection program—to call our Reservation Consultant. We’re now booked for a voyage in May. Done! I’ll post a picture in a future newsletter.

Now it’s your turn. Don’t let any more time pass before you act on your pledge to take your true love someplace new or get together with your group of best friends. Tips from a Reservation ConsultantMany members are asking to exchange for hotels within � e Registry Collection. We do our best to negotiate deals with prominent hotel companies to provide our members with options in destinations that might not otherwise be available but we may not hit them all. So, to provide other options we’ve worked with our Collection Partners to negotiate the best rates available on the open market.

Members can check out what’s available by accessing www.theregistrycollection.com and clicking on Program Overview, then Member Bene� ts. Click the tab “Collection Partners” to view all Partners. Among them you will � nd “Fairmont Hotels and Resorts” as well as “� e Wyndham Grand Collection.” Clicking on either of these will show you the Corporate Codes to use for their respective � e Registry Collection discounts, as well as contact information to obtain your discount and available locations.

Destination Properties Spotlight Karma Kandara-Bali, IndonesiaThis award-winning luxury resort, set on a spectacular cli� top, rede� nes the concept of luxury. Member Testimonial� e 10-Year Anniversary Celebration of � e Registry Collection program was a resounding success, particularly with the winners of each of our amazing prizes consisting of a week long stay at one of � e Registry Collection’s fabulous European locations. A: � e Registry Collection program is known for the highest quality accommodations. We strive to maintain this level at all properties you experience through us. Your membership a� ords you the opportunity to stay at select RCI properties that are in destinations where we may not have an adequate supply of inventory from our Portfolio properties. We select the � nest RCI properties, and by monitoring our member comments we believe we are able to uphold the standards and integrity of � e Registry Collection program, as well as ensuring the enjoyment of our members.

A: If we advised you that you were, for example, number three on a waitlist, you may be led to believe that this ensures you will receive a match. However, we can only con� rm for you what has been deposited by another member. If we do not receive any more deposits for that speci� c location and time, we will not be able to provide you with a match. � is is another great reason to deposit early!

Q: Depending on where I am on the Wait List, will I be able to secure my desired location and time?

Q: Why can’t I con� rm into all of RCI’s properties?

A: Absolutely not. We encourage our members to waitlist as many properties as possible to improve their chances of a great vacation. � e more � exible you can be with your dates and locations, the more likely it is that we will � nd a deposit that matches your request.
