Establish in 1970: Badan Koordinasi Keluarga Berecana Nasional ( BKKBN or Family
Planning Co-ordinating Board)
Simple motto: “two children are enough” • ( dua anak cukup)
The heart of the strategy is not the basic concept of family but simply the size
Focused on Java and Bali island because 66% of the entire population live in
these islands
