Atlantis really real, or
was it fake? Atlantis is a mystery that
lays the bottom of the
ocean. Plato, the man
credited for building At-
lantis, was born in
c.428B.C.E , and he died
in c.348 B.C.E . He was
born in a place called
Athens, Greece .The leg-
end says that Plato built
it for his wife for them to
live in.
The nickname is
the Lost City., because
they are not certain as to
what happened to it. Ex-
plorers believe they may
have found the evidence
of this Lost City in the
ocean. The building was
man made. It is not often
shown on maps
Atlantis was pro-
tected by Poseidon, the
god of the sea.. But,
there are theories that the
Atlantis got destroyed by
a huge volcano. Long
ago stories were told
about the Atlantis being
built and who built .Was
The Loch Ness Monster is a cryptid ,which is a creature or plant whose existence has been suggested but has not been dis-covered or documented by the scientific community. Nessie (or Loch Ness Monster) lives in Loch Ness, Scotland. The ques-tion of why the Loch Ness Mon-ster is still a mystery leads back to “what” it is. The fact that no scientific method has been able to prove it’s existence has made it almost playful for people to
make up stories/legends of it’s existence (some ( some for per-sonal gain). These stories over time become folklore/legends. Stories of the Loch Ness Mon-ster date back to the 6th Cen-tury (565 AD). The first photo-graphic evidence was taken in 1934 but it’s origin is in ques-tion. Many think the photo-graph, and many others have followed it, is a hoax (fake). Dr. Robert Wilson took that 1934 picture. At first he took more
1934 Nessie picture by Dr. Robert Wilson than one picture but only one printed clear. (INFORMATION FROM ,THE LOCH NESS

Vanished!”
The Salem Witch Trials
How It All Started Late in the month of Au-
gust,1920, 11 ship crew members
got ready for a long voyage. The
men planned to sail the ship Car-
roll A. Deering to South America
from Maine. The ship was carry-
ing lots of coal. By January
1921 ,the boat was coming back
to Maine. On the day of January
9, the ship stopped at the island
of Barbados somewhere in the
Caribbean Sea. January 31, the
crew of another ship found the
Carroll A. Deering floating of North
Carolina’s coast. The crew had vanished!
Facts The Bermuda Triangle is a section in the Atlantic Ocean bounded by
Puerto Rico, Bermuda, and Miami.
The Bermuda Triangle is called The Bermuda Triangle because the island
of Bermuda is at the point of the triangle that is formed by Puerto Rico,
Bermuda, and Miami. (Look at picture above)
It is twice the size as Texas.
It is also known as The Devil’s
Sea.
Sink or Swim
The most common way of seeing
if someone was a witch was to tie
their hands and feet together and
through them into the nearest
lake or pond and if they sank
the were innocent and if they
floated they were guilty because the

The Mystery of the Great Pyramids
P A G E 3 V O L U M E 1 , I S S U E 1
The first pyramid was built
in 1700 B.C. by King
Djoser. Today about 80
pyramids have
been discov-
ered in Egypt.
The pyramids
were first used
by ancient
Egyptians.
Then they
were built by
the Aztecs and
the Mayans.
They were used to store
treasures. They were also
sometimes used for sol-
diers to be safe. But they
are mostly known for put-
ting wrapped dead people
( A ka, mummies ) in it.
The most popular pyramid
is the great pyramid of
Egypt. The great pyramids
were created mostly out of
sandstone.
The great pyramid
of Egypt is the most fa-
mous structure in Egypt. One
of the newest theories of how
the pyramids were built was
the ancient Egyp-
tians wanted to
honor sun god,
Ra.
Another
theory is the
pyramids were
simply contriv-
ances for purify-
ing the water of
the muddy Nile
for people to
drink. A third idea is the pyra-
mids were a gift for the Queen
of Sheba.
Finally, it is believed
the pyramids were barriers
against the sandy irruptions.
Above is a great pyramid
found in Egypt.
