Improvements -Facebook

• Facebook Lite Launches – Facebook has officially given the green light to the Lite version of its service which has been under testing for a while now. The experience is very bare-bones and Twitter-esque in simplicity. For now, only U.S. users are able to access this new experience.

• Facebook Google Android Application – Facebook has managed to maintain a solid mobile phone presence through its development of applications for such popular devices as the Blackberry Smartphone and the iPhone. A mobile version of the Facebook website is also available for phones with internet capabilities. Now Android users as well can join in on the fun, as Facebook on Tuesday launched a compatible app for the OS.

Twitter has acquired Summize—an extraordinary search tool and an amazing group of engineers.. This is an important step forward in the evolution of Twitter as a service and as a company.

Summize is a popular service for searching Twitter and keeping up with emerging trends in real-time. Like Twitter, Summize offers an API so other products and services can filter the constant queue of updates in a variety of ways. The Summize service and API will be merged with our own and integrated under the Twitter brand.

So after this conference I will design a corporate page on Facebook that will highlight the services or products that we offer.

I will then join Twitter and tweet about the upcoming events and launches that the company is having.

Then I will amble over to linkedin and start up my profile to reflect the awesome job I do for my company whilst highlighting their services and get the opportunity to network with similar minded people.
