This winter is no exception and we trust you will enjoy many mountain memories and alpine adventures for generations to come. I would like to report that our Clean and repair everything (C.A.R.E) process will be completed this fall and the Club is looking better than ever. In addition, the exterior painting and installation of wrought iron railing in Elkhorn Lodge and exterior of Willow Creek Bistro is complete. The wooden beams of the Trial Head Lodge are currently being refurbished this fall. In addition, the phones in the Residences bedrooms, kitchens and living rooms and upgraded Direct TV programing will be completed this fall. Congratulations are in order for Robert Harris who was elected to The Tourist Accommodation Board of Directors at the September 21, 2013 Annual Meeting. Mr. Harris will serve a three year term. Mr.Harris was elected as Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance and Investment committee for 2014. Club UpdatesWillow Creek Bistro Refurbishment:Upon your next visit, you will notice new tabletops,chairs, carpet and upholstery. Chef Matt Sanders hascreated his signature flat breads and will be usinglocal ingredients including produce, meat andcheeses for new menu options.

Membership Global Reservation Guide:Please take a moment to review the Per Diem rulesas stated in your Global Reservation Guide. FamilyMember means a Member's spouse, or an individualwho is not the Member’s spouse but lives togetherwith the unmarried Member in the same householdas a family unit, who does not jointly own a ClubInterest together with the Member, or the Member'sand, if applicable, his or her spouse's siblings,parents, children or grandchildren. Upon aconfirmed reservation by the Member to theProgram Manager, a Family Member may use a ClubUnit pursuant to these Reservation Procedures in agiven year as if such Family Member or Memberswere the Member himself or herself and for whichusage will be deemed to have been made by theMember himself or herself. Guest means a personwho, as an invited guest of a Member, lodges in aClub Unit at a Club who is not a Member or a FamilyMember and uses the same or a different Club Unitthan that used by the Member during the sameperiod of occupancy as the Member or during adifferent period of occupancy and whether or notaccompanied by a Member.

Employee SpotlightBruna Velloso was recently promoted to Club ServicesManager. Bruna started her career with The Ritz-CarltonClub, Aspen Highlands as a Member ExperienceConcierge in 2012. She was then promoted to ConciergeSupervisor in 2013.

Karime Scandelai was promoted to Club ServicesManager. Karime has been with The Ritz-Carlton Club,Aspen Highlands since 2008 as a MembershipExperience Concierge. This summer season she hasexcelled in Member engagement and satisfaction.

Nikolay Tevekleiyski has recently accepted the Directorof Club Services position. Previously, Nikolay was theClub Services Manager and has been very successful overthe past year in impacting our Member ExperienceSatisfaction as well as our Employee Engagement.

Ross Senoran joined The Ritz-Carlton Club, AspenHighlands team as the Director of Housekeeping. Rosshas over 21 years with Marriott and Ritz-Carlton. He hasbeen the Director of Housekeeping at the Ritz-CarltonDove Mountain and most recently was the JW Marriott,Desert Springs Resort & Spa, Palm Desert, California.

Cristiano Buono has accepted the Director of Operationsposition for The Ritz-Carlton Club, Aspen Highlands. Hewas previously the Executive Assistant Manager – roomsdivision for Abama Golf & Spa Resort, managed by TheRitz-Carlton in Abama, Spain. Cristiano has been with thecompany for over 10 years, speaks five differentlanguages and is originally from Ischia, Italy.

Rules & RegulationsRemindersRules & Regulation Updates:Over the past year there have been several proposedchanges in the Association's Rules & Regulations. TheBoard of Directors motioned to move forward with theproposed changes after a 30 day review period by theMembership. A copy of the proposed changes to theRules & Regulations was mailed to you for your review.As there were no Member comments, the Boardofficially adopted the Rules & Regulations changes atthe September 21, 2013 Full Board of Directors Meeting.Major changes to the Rules & Regulations included theaddition of several polices and charters such as: -Member Code of Conduct - Conduct of Meeting Policy -Collection Policy - Investment Guidelines -Refurbishment Committee Charter - Finance CommitteeCharter - Audit and Insurance Committee Charter

Check out/Room Moves:Guests staying in a Tourist Accommodation Unit shallstrictly adhere to the posted check out time. A fee inthe amount of $250.00 may be assessed to any Guestwho fails to vacate a room by the posted Check OutTime of 11:00a.m.. Late check out may be arranged onlyif space is available. Guests notified of a required roommove must move all possessions from the room by thestated Check Out Time. Any room move taking longerthan one hour from the time such move is required shallbe subject to a $250 room move assistance fee.

Pets and Service Animals:Pets and animals are prohibited within the Project, withthe exception of specially trained domesticated animalsnecessary to assist physically challenged people andemotional support animals (“Service/Support Animals”)whose owners have requested a reasonableaccommodation pursuant to the Fair Housing Act or arepermitted pursuant to the provisions of the Americanswith Disabilities Act. The following shall apply toEmotional Support Animals: (i) must be transported in asuitable pet carrier at all times while in the CommonAreas; (ii) shall not be permitted to enter through themain entrance; (iii) may not be exercised anywherewithin the Project; and (iv) shall not be permitted tomake noise disturbing other residents and guests.
