    Introduction by Anubhav Sahu

I think Mothers are important because they

always keep us safe and fine. They always

take care of us. They help us in everything.

Mothers always keep us healthy by giving us

good food. We should always respect

mothers. They never let anyone bully us.

Everyone should have a mother. Peggy also

wants a mother. This story is about how

    Peggy gets a mother.

Fact: I think my mother is the best mother in

    the world.

Once upon a time, there was a smart

scientist. His name was Dr. Steve. He had

made many robots, some for exhibitions too.

He was a great scientist; he had made many

robots for people. But he never made a

robot for children. So he thought to make a

    robot for children.

He worked & worked very hard, he worked

day to night and so he finally made a robot.

He thought & whispered to himself. What

name should I give to this robot. He

thought of a best name Peggy !!

  • He told everyone about Peggy. Everyone

loved Peggy and Peggy also loved everyone

but mostly he loved Dr. Steve.

Dr. Steve made the robot & named him Peggy.

    CHAPTER II

Peggy was a blue & white robot. He was very

tiny & small. He was just till Dr. Steves

knees. Peggy was made like a 10 year old.

    Peggy was very cute.

Peggy talked and walked like us. He talked

from a radio and he also kept repeating

things. He always mimics* the person who

    ever he liked.

Peggy was very helpful & never hit anyone.

But he was also very naughty sometimes.

  • The other day Dr. Steve saw Peggy and

screamed Oh no! Time to charge Peggy!

When Peggy was charged, Dr. Steve took

him to the School. They went to the

    Computer Lab in the school.

The teacher told everyone about Dr. Steve &

Peggy. All students observed Peggy carefully.

One boy named Rafe also was watching

    Peggy carefully.

Teacher announced then Children it is

Open House after 3 days. Please tell your

Mother and Father to come & meet me.

All children went home after that.

    CHAPTER IV

Peggy was kept in the Computer Lab of the

school. All students came to Lab and but no

    one spoke to Peggy.

One day Rafes class came to Computer Lab.

Rafe came to Peggy & said Hi.I am Rafe.

    Will you be my friend?

Peggy was very happy that a boy became his

    CHAPTER V

    Peggy is Confused

3 days later it was the Open House in the

school. Peggy saw that all childrens father &

mother had come to the school to meet the

    teachers.

Peggy saw his friend Rafe also. Peggy even

    saw Rafes parents.

Peggy was confused. Everybody has parents.

Then why he does not have parents.

  • When Peggy was confused, he thought

about how the Scientist Dr. Steve built him.

He thought to say Dr. Steve about wanting

    parents.

When he reached Dr. Steves house, he

requested Dr. Steve and he said Please

make a mother for me like you made me.

Dr. Steve said I can do anything for you but

I cant do that. It is not possible! Please! I

cant make a mother but I can find a mother

    for you.

Peggy was very happy that Dr. Steve will help

    him to find a mother.

  • CHAPTER VI

One day Rafe told Peggy that it was his

birthday on Sunday. He invited Peggy to

come for his birthday party with Dr. Steve.

Peggy & Dr. Steve went for Rafes party.

Peggy was very happy to see Rafes mother.

All the children were dancing & playing.

Everybody was eating cake. Peggy was sad

that he could not eat the cake. How will he

    eat the cake?

Peggy saw that Rafes mother called Rafe &

asked Rafe, are you hungry? Should I give

you some chips? Are you tires? Should I

    bring you some cold drink?

Peggy was imagining that if he has a mother,

then his mother will also ask him, Peggy,

are you hungry? Should I give you some IC

chips*? Are you tired? Should I charge your

    battery?

Peggy becomes very unhappy again. He told

Dr. Steve again, Please help me. Please find

    a mother for me.

Dr. Steve had to think very much about this.

and becoming sad. He got an idea. He can

    now finally help Peggy.

When Dr. Steve told Peggy that he cannot

make a mother for Peggy but he can surely

find a mother for him. Peggy was very

    happy.

Dr. Steve took Peggy to Rafes mother and

told her that he needed her help.

Rafes mother was a very nice lady. She was

    ready to help Dr. Steve.

Dr. Steve requested her Please can you be

Peggys mother also. He is a robot and is

waiting for a loving mother like you.

Rafes Mom said, OK...No problem! I will

    also be Peggys Mom.

  • Peggy jumped with joy.Yeah! I got a

    mother! Peggy shouted.
