ing to divide up the funds we have for service projects. All of the chairsofServiceorFundraisingCommitteeshavereceivedanemailwith further details. It is VERY important that all service and fund-raising chairs (or a delegate) attend.
• Ourannual family BBQ istakingplaceonWednesday,September9th,atBobIreland’splaceonWatsonRoad.Ticketsarestillavail-able,pleasecontactRuthThatcher.
• TheDistrict Conference istheweekendofSeptember19th–itrunsfromFridaynighttoSundaymorning,butit’sflexible–manyat-tendeesonlyattendfortheSaturday.Thethemeis“Fun,FamilyandFilanthropy.”It’sinBronteProvincialParkinBurlington,isveryfamilyfriendly,andifyouhavejoinedRotaryinthelasttwoyears,theClubwillcover$50ofyour$100registrationfee.Theprogramislargelyfocusedonfunfamilyactivities,insteadofthetypicalRotarytopicsoffundraising,membershipretention,etc.Formoredetailsortoregister,gothroughtheDistrict7080Website.
