The conventional way to switch between languages is to use Message-files…

If your app wasn’t designed for it, could you reasonably integrate them?

But remember that message-files cannot store Unicode

Conventional 5250 emulators have no UNICODE capabilities. Only the terminal character set can by display. This enables only one language to be displayed on the screen at a time.
