Mrs. Sue
July was a very busy and hot month for the
guys who have worked on contract work and on the lawn crew most every day of the week. For a change of pace, the guys went to James E. McGuffey nature center at the Coweta County Fairgrounds on July 28th to enjoy a day of fishing.
We first stopped by Ronnie’s Bait & Tackle to pick up night crawlers. At the pond, everyone helped set up chairs to sit in while fishing, put worms on the hooks, and watched each other’s bobbers in the water. Everyone caught at least one fish and also smelled like fish for the rest of the day!
Clients enjoy going out in the commu-
nity especially individually when they get to select an activity that they want to do.
Recently, Billy Chapman chose to go bowling during his CAI time. Patrick Doddridge wanted to play pool during his outing with staff. Whatever activity or place the client chooses, staff en-courages the client to try new activities or hobbies.
Talk to your loved one and ask him or her about his/her community outing experiences.
