2017 Judicial Survey
The San Antonio Criminal Defense Lawyers Associa�on conducts the Judicial Survey on a regular basis, and the results of the 2017 Survey are contained in this report. The survey is sent out to all prac�cing a�orneys in Bexar County who are in good standing with the State Bar of Texas and have valid addresses registered with that organiza�on. The survey is intended to measure how each Judge performs, and to promote and maintain judicial accountability to the ci�zens of Bexar County, and with the elec�on cycle approaching, this is invaluable informa�on for voters. Readers can vote based on performance, not party affilia�on. The scope of the survey is limited to elected Judges. The instruc�ons in the cover le�er ask that respondents only evaluate Judges of whom they have personal knowledge. The results from all 419 surveys received have been included. The ques�ons are simple and are meant to avoid a popularity contest.
