1. A bid number registered in your name will be issued to you and posted on the back of your program. Please use only the bid number assigned to you.

2. Each item in the Silent Auction has a bid sheet. Persons desiring to bid on an item should write their bid number next to their desired bid amount. Starting bids may not be altered, or bid will be invalid. The highest valid bid will constitute the winner of the item. Bids must be raised by $10 increments unless noted.

3. No bids will be accepted after the auction closing is announced. All items must be paid for by the end of the Gala evening. Purchases may be paid by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. All items must be removed the evening of the auction, unless other arrangements have been made.

4. By participating in the Silent Auction, each bidder recognizes and agrees that neither the SARAH Foundation, nor any of its agencies, can be held respon-sible, nor anyone who assists in the conduct of this auction shall be liable for any occurrence resulting from use of auctioned items or services.

5. The SARAH Foundation warrants neither the quality nor the value of items or services auctioned. All items are sold in “as is” condition and “with all its faults.” Dollar values are estimated provided by the donor, and are not warrants for tax purposes or as an indication of market value.

6. Gift certificates must be presented to the donor in order to claim goods and/or services. Neither SARAH nor the donor is responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates; replacements will not be issued. Gift certificates are for the use at the named establishments only. For each auction item donated by a restaurant, alcoholic beverages, gratuity, and taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner is responsible for making reservations, which are subject to availability.

7. Unless otherwise specified by the donor, all auction items and services must be used by May 1, 2014. The dates and times of mutual convenience should be arranged between the auction donor and the successful bidder. Winners are bound by restrictions specified by donors.

8. All sales are final and binding; no refunds will be made. No items can be exchanged or returned to donor for cash or credit.
