Aims and Scope:

The Journal of Applied Hematology is an international journal that publishes articles covering both clinical and experimental research in hematology. The journal welcomes original as well as review articles, manuscripts, case reports, short communications, images and clinical pictures, letters and correspondence to the Editor; on non-malignant and malignant hematological diseases, hemostasis and thrombosis, immunology, stem cells biology, and transfusion medicine. Clinical studies describing novel therapeutic approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of hematological diseases are welcomed and encouraged as well.

Author Guidelines:

Manuscripts are considered for publication with the understanding that they have not been published or considered for publication elsewhere. The submission letter must be signed by all co-authors. The official language of the journal is English (with Arabic and French summaries).Articles submitted for publication should be typewritten, using only one side of an A4-size paper, in double spacing throughout, with a margin of 3.5 cm all round. Until the electronic submission of articles is established, the submitted manuscript should be accompanied by a copy on a CD or computer disk in Microsoft format.

Manuscript Preparation:

The format of The Journal of Applied Hematology complies with the Uniform Requirement for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals (The Vancouver Style) (see www.icmje.org/).

The contents of all submitted articles should be arranged in the following order: title page, abstract and key words, introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, acknowledgement, references, tables, glossary photos and/or figures, legends to figures and tables. The number of words in the abstract should not exceed 250 words and the key words should not be more than six)

References:

References should be listed, double-spaced, consecutively in the order of their citation in the text. Journal names should be abbreviated according to the Index Medicus. Standard international unit (SI units) abbreviations are to be used instead of full words (for example:cm, mm, m, km, ml, g, kg, %).The author(s) are fully responsible for the accuracy of all statements and data in the submitted manuscript.
