Mount Vesuvius

In the night we took the torches and went on the Mount Vesuvius.

There we follow a path to see the remains of the eruptions. Here we heard a lot of animals.

Volcanics ‘Bombs’

We have found 34 ‘Bombs’

The bombs are pieces of solidified lava ejected by the volcano during the eruption, they are often very big and could destroy houses and cars.

When we were on the Mount Vesuvio we sift the dirt to find some minerals. There are a lot of types of mineral and it's quite easy to find some of it.
