The sevenfoldspirit of God

Isaiah 11-2-King James Version (KJV)2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 3 Andshall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD:

There are six aspects of the Holy Spirit mentioned in this scripture and the seventh ismentioned in the book of acts 1-8. These are the portions of the Holy Spirits seven fold sides.

Acts 1-8-Good News Translation (GNT)8 But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be filled with power, and you will bewitnesses for me in Jerusalem, in all of Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

The seventh aspect of the Holy Spirit is ‘power;’ so we have wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord, and power; These are the seven fold portions ofthe Holy Spirit and Jesus had them all on him, and there is no reason why we cannot have thesein our lives also, after all God chose us to be his through Jesus Christ, and made us equal toJesus; and in Jesus he made us heirs of all he owned. Aside from the sevenfold side of theHoly Spirit there are also the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit available to us, to those whodiligently search for them with all their heart.

In the book of 1-Corinthians, scripture talks about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and how thesegifts are available to us if we desire them earnestly.

1 Corinthians 12-29-Amplified Bible (AMP)

29 Are all apostles (special messengers)? Are all prophets (inspired interpreters of the willand purposes of God)? Are all teachers? Do all have the power of performing miracles?

3

0 Do all possess extraordinary powers of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do allinterpret?

31 But earnestly desire and zealously cultivate the greatest and best gifts and graces (thehigher gifts and the choicest graces). And yet I will show you a still more excellent way[one that is better by far and the highest of them all—love].

The onus to have supernatural gifts is fair and squarely laid on us, we are the ones who mustseek the gifts that are on offer; yes the Holy Spirit distributes the gifts as he sees fit, but intruth, he also says, ‘you’ are to ask him for the best gifts. Any gift from God is the best gift,so God would be delighted if you went after every gift for his glory. When God’s Holy Spirit gives us gifts he then lays it with us to grow those gifts and power,by using them at every opportunity that arises. But earnestly ‘’desire’’ and ‘’zealously’’‘’cultivate’’ the greatest and best gifts and graces (the ‘’higher gifts’’ and the ‘’choicestgraces.’’Look at the language that God uses here in this translation, earnestly = sincerely = seriously= solemnly = intently = and zealously= enthusiastically= passionately= fanatically=obsessively= eagerly= keenly= desire means to have a passion for something. Cultivatemeans to= {to improve or develop something, usually by study or education and to develop anacquaintance or intimacy with somebody, often for personal advantage.} Did you see what thisword means, for personal advantage! God wants s you to cultivate the gifts for a personaladvantage, that sounds like a God who wants you to have everything working in your life. Hewants you to dig up the soil in your heart so these gifts can grow.

Go after all of his gifts and everything he has on offer with all that those words mean

1 Corinthians 14-12-Amplified Bible (AMP)12 So it is with yourselves; since ‘you’ are so eager and ambitious to possess spiritualendowments and manifestations of the [Holy] Spirit, [concentrate on] ‘’striving’’ to‘’excel’’ and to ‘’abound’’ [in them] in ways that will build up the church.

The Holy Spirit gives to those who eagerly desire them, gifts of tongues, miracles, healings, discernment and every other gift; and he wants us going after them with great enthusiasm; hesays ‘’strive’’ to ‘’excel’’ and ‘’abound’’ in them, that put another ways means -strive –struggle- endeavor- go all-out- do your utmost – make every effort - try hard –attempt. To abound in the gifts means to be plentiful - thrive - flourish - proliferate - multiply -propagate - produce offspring –thrive;- thrive means succeed - bloom - blossom – andincrease.

You need to know the fullness of the meaning of a word so when you see that word you knowimmediately all that word holds in its meaning, so when you see God saying he wants youstriving for a gift or something. I color code the words to show how important they all are.The words excel means to go beyond; to outshine - outclass - outrival - do extremely well -stand out. God wants you to stand out from all the other Christians who don’t go after hisoffers; he would love it if they did but knows most just settle for less. I will never settle forless than what God has to offer. Now let’s put those three words together with all theiraccompanying meanings.

1 Corinthians 14-12-Amplified Bible (AMP)

‘’strive’’ to ‘’excel’’ and ‘’abound’’ -strive – struggle- endeavor- go all-out- do yourutmost – make every effort - try hard –attempt. Be plentiful - flourish - proliferate -multiply - propagate - produce offspring –thrive; - thrive means to succeed - bloom -blossom – and increase. To outshine - outclass - outrival - do extremely well - stand out.In all the gifts and powers of God, all this is the perfect will of God for the children of God;he says we are god’s and wants us living as god’s, endowed with supernatural power and gifts;not just children of God but according to his own word and Jesus words, he wants us living as‘god’s,’ he created us like this for his glory, not for yours or mine but for his glory and thegreater use you are to him the greater glory he will receive, the more you abound in thesupernatural gifting the more he is glorified; do you think he will hold back the sevenfoldSpirit from you when he sacrificed his Son for you and gave you his own Holy Spirit and moreas the first installment of all he wants to give you. God wants the world to see his awesomepower displayed through us his children; he wants others not of his household to be jealousand desire to have the same as us and want to go after all he offers.Every Christian needs every supernatural gift of the Holy Spirit and I mean every gift andpower, we face an evil cunning enemy and his hoards of evil forces who is going all out withattempts to kill us and destroy everything we have belonging to us, they has no mercy in themand will do everything they can to steal kill and destroy us, so we need every supernatural giftand power to resist and defeat them in their actions against us.

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are what God wants us to go after, and with great gusto.

Two

The gifts of the Holy Spirit

1 Corinthians 12-4-New Living Translation (NLT)There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them

all. 5 There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord. 6 God works indifferent ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us.7 A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.8 To one person the Spiritgives the ability to give wise advice; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special

knowledge]9 The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the oneSpirit gives the gift of healing. 10 He gives one person the power to perform miracles, andanother the ability to prophesy. He gives someone else the ability to discern whether amessage is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit. Still another person is given theability to speak in unknown languages, while another is given the ability to interpretwhat is being said.11 it is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alonedecides which gift each person should have.

Most Christians think that the Holy Spirit wants only to give one gift to each person but thisis not true. I have witnessed Christians refusing the gifts that the Holy Spirit wishes to givethem, they refused to accept them and some protested strongly they want the Holy Spirit butdon’t want the gifts, and they didn’t receive them. Others couldn’t get enough from him, theywere hungry. When I was baptized in the Holy Spirit I told the two men who prayed over me for the baptismin the Holy Spirit, that I wanted everything that God had to give, I wanted every gift andpower, and they laughed and said, ‘you can’t have this you can only have one gift,’ and theyadvised me to ask for the gift of love; ‘love is not a gift,’ it is a ‘fruit of the Holy Spirit,’ thatshowed what they knew. I asked God for all the gifts and I operated in them as they wereneeded over the years; then I slowly let the enemy deceive me into concentrating on only twogifts, miracles and healing, and the other gifts faded into the background as I didn’t seek to usethem. Now I have repented of this and am searching for them back again in full use, and alsoI am going after the sevenfold portions of the Holy Spirit as well. I want everything that Godhas on offer; how could I refuse what God is offering us his very own children.

The gifts of the spirit are different in some ways from the sevenfold sides of the Holy Spirit.

Compare these two scriptures

1 Corinthians 12-4-Names of God Bible (NOG)4 There are different spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit gives them. 5 There are differentways of serving, and yet the same Lord is served. 6 There are different types of work todo, but the same God produces every gift in every person.7 The evidence of the Spirit’s presence is given to each person for the common good ofeveryone. 8 The Spirit gives one person the ability to speak with wisdom. The same Spiritgives another person the ability to speak with knowledge. 9 To another person the sameSpirit gives courageous faith. To another person the same Spirit gives the ability toheal.10 another can work miracles. Another can speak what God has revealed, {prophe-cy}. Another can tell the difference between spirits {discernment}. Another can speak indifferent kinds of languages. Another can interpret languages.11 there is only one Spiritwho does all these things by giving what God wants to give to each person.

The sevenfold portions of the Holy Spirit are not the gifts

Isaiah 11-2-King James Version (KJV)2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;And Acts- I-‘’power’’ completing the seven.

And God has already given us his own children all those gifts and power, all we need to do isgo after them with zeal and zeal means fanatisim.

1-Corinthians 1-7-The Way BibleNow ‘you have’ ‘’every spiritual gift and power’’ you need as you eagerly wait for thereturn of our Lord Jesus Christ.

You see you ‘already have’ every spiritual gift and power, it is already yours as I have said,God wants you going after all he has given to you, and as his word says, he has even given youhis own Holy Spirit, and his own Son Jesus, who both live in you, and as his word says; youare filled with the ‘Godhead, father Son and Holy Spirit,’ so why don’t you go after thefullness of the seven fold Holy Spirit; his word says he withholds nothing from us.

Romans-8:32-Contemporary-English-VersionGod did not keep back his own Son, but he gave him for us. If God did this, won’t hefreely give us everything else?

Galatians-4-7-The Way BibleSince I am his son, everything he has belongs to me, for that is the way God planned.

Yes God will, and has, given us everything he gave Jesus. Jesus was just a human being likeus when he walked on earth, he was not God; he became a man who peed, pooed and ate anddrank {even wine} slept and walked and talked as a man, not as a God man. What power hegot, he got from the Holy Spirit who came into him when he got baptized in the Jordan Riverby John, and then he was filled with all the portions of the Holy Spirit those, sevenfold spirits. We received the same thing as Jesus when we received the baptism in the Holy Spirit and hewithheld nothing from us either, he lives in us, and as you have read, he gave us every gift andpower when he entered us, and it is up to us to go seek the same thing that Jesus got; we arefamily and are sons and daughters of the same Father God who loves us no different than heloves Jesus. This is what Jesus received as prophesized by Isaiah, the sevenfold Holy Spirit, and the same thing is on offer to us the children of God, for all that God gave to his Son Jesusis now ours also.

Isaiah 11-2-King James Version (KJV)

2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him,the spirit of wisdom and understanding,

the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of

the fear of the LORD;

God says about us in 1-John

1 John 4-17: As he is, so are we in this world.

God says as ‘he is’ ‘so are we,’ that is you and me that scripture is talking about; so Godconsiders you and me to be the same as Jesus to him, and remember he withheld nothing fromJesus, are you going to let the enemy deceive you into thinking he will make a differencebetween you and Jesus when he calls you the same as he is in this world.

Romans 6-4: You were given his wonderful new life to enjoy for you have become a partof him.

If God gave you the wonderful life of Jesus to enjoy why would he keep anything back fromyou, he made you a part of him. The word part means a branch- fraction, element, ingredi-ent, piece, measurement, and a component,Words are so important in the word of God for God says you will give an account for everyidle word you speak, and words spoken by you got you saved, words are the most importantthing in the bible it is full of words spoken to us by our heavenly father; he knows the fullnessof a word, all of its meaning!

Galatians-4-7: since I am his son, everything he has belongs to me, for that is the wayGod planned it

You see everything God gave Jesus is now mine according to God’s word, he gave him thesevenfold spirit and it now belongs to me just like Isaiah got the blessings of his master onlydouble. And he dared ask for double that Elijah had, and God did not think that he was askingtoo much, and blessed him with double what Elijah had, he wants us to come boldly before histhrone and ask for impossible things; so he can create the impossible for us for his glory.

2-Kings-2:9-King-James-Versionand it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what Ishall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, leta double portion of thy spirit be upon me.

God wants us asking for big things not little things, the greater the asking the greater the gloryhe gets. Elisha got what he dared to ask for, you would think he would be humble and ask forhalf of what Elijah had; but his goal was to serve the lord God with all his heart and got whathe asked for; this is how we should approach God. Elisha was humble he asked and got whathe desired to serve the lord with, it was not for his own glory or power that he asked for double, and if he had asked for triple he would have got that also, his heart was right before God, andif ours are right also we should ask for the greater portions of all that is available to us in ChristJesus, and God will give them to us for his glory. ‘’Miracles demonstrate God’s honormajesty and eternal goodness,’’-Psalm-111 and we should go after what will glorify God; thebigger more impossible the harder to imagine is what we should seek for his glory not our ego,and we will get what we seek earnestly.

2 Kings 2-9-Amplified Bible (AMP)

Elijah said to Elisha; ask what I shall do for you before I am taken from you. And Elishasaid, I pray you, let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.

10 He said, you have asked a hard thing. However, if you see me when I am taken fromyou, it shall be so for you—but if not, it shall not be so.

11 as they still went on and talked, behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire parted thetwo of them, and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

12 And Elisha saw it and he cried, my father, my father! The chariot of Israel and itshorsemen! And he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore themin two pieces.

13 He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him and went back and stood by thebank of the Jordan.

14 And he took the mantle that fell from Elijah and struck the waters and said, where isthe Lord, the God of Elijah? And when he had struck the waters, they parted this wayand that, and Elisha went over.

This is how we should approach God our father this is how his word says to approach him;boldly, not timidly but boldly, boldly means bravely= courageously= daringly= audacious-ly= gallantly= fearlessly= unflinchinglyhaving the attitude of Elisha confidently and boldly. This is how God wants us to come beforehim, fearlessly, unflinching, daringly, bravely and courageously, full of confidence in hiswelcome, not in fear or trembling afraid that he would be angry at us for whatever reason. Theopposite of bold is cowardly, how about that for a characterization. Do you thing cowardicepleases God? The word cowardly means to be – gutless, spineless, weak, craven, pusillani-

mous, {now there a word not too often used,} and that word pusillanimous means-lily-livered, spineless, cowardly, faint-hearted, fearful, nervous. Fearful = afraid, scared, apprehensive, terrified, worried, anxious, timid

God says come boldly not cowardly. You now know the full meaning of those two words,

Hebrews-4:16-King-James-Versionlet us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and findgrace to help in time of need.God wants to give us the supernatural because the supernatural should be natural for thechildren of God and Scripture says, ‘’miracles demonstrate his honor, majesty, and eternalgoodness’’Psalm-111-2 The Way Bible.

God wants to work miracles through you because they give him honor, majestyand eternal goodness and glory, scripture says, ‘he even shares his own glorywith us;’ if a God who is willing to share his own glory with us, would hewithhold anything that would give him glory honor and majesty? I doubt it; heeven filled you with all of himself in Colossians-2-10

Colossians-2-10-The Way BibleYou are filled with the Godhead, the father, son, and Holy Spirit and reach full Spiritualstature.

If God would fill you with the Godhead, {all of himself} why would he not give you thesevenfold Holy Spirit?

Colossians 1-27-Good News Translation (GNT)27 God's plan is to make known his secret to his people, this rich and glorious secret whichhe has for all peoples. And the secret is that Christ is in you, which means that you willshare in the glory of God.

You and I are called to share in the glory of God, so if we are called to share in God’s ownglory, does it not stand to reason that he will also give us the sevenfold portions of the HolySpirit. If he is willing to share his own personal glory with me and with you then he will sharehis sevenfold spirit; he has filled you with the Godhead in your spirit and if filled with theGodhead then you are also filled with the sevenfold Holy Spirit and it is up to you and I toafter these things like we were gasping for our last breath, to have God’s spirit release thoseportion just as they resided in Jesus they also reside in us because we have the Holy Spiritalready in us if baptized in the Spirit, and we need to search for the release of those sides of

the Holy Spirit; he wants Jesus glorified in us and he wants the father glorified in us also so hewill reveal those seven sides of himself to those of us who go after them with passion andexuberance, never stopping until you know they have been released in you.

Three

First installment

God even gives us a written guarantee of the first installments we receive from him.

2-Corinthians – 1-22- The Way BibleHe has given us his Holy Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee that we belong to Him, andas the first Installment of all he is going to give us

The Holy Spirit is the ‘first installment’ that God is going to give us, if the Holy Spirit is thefirst installment then he must have planned to give us everything that involves the Holy Spiritlike his sevenfold portions.

1-Corinthians 14-1-Names of God Bible (NOG)

Speak in Ways That Can Be Understood

1-Pursue love and desire spiritual gifts, but especially the gift of speaking what Godhas revealed.

Another translation reads; set your heart on spiritual gifts it does not say a spiritual gift, asmeaning only one gift, but it says set ‘’your’’ heart on spiritual gifts, that means it is up to youto seek the gifts, as many as you desire with all your heart, and if it is in your heart to seekevery gift from God then go after them with all your might, as scripture says the violentpossess the kingdom of God,

1 Corinthians 14-1-Good News Translation (GNT)

More about Gifts from the Spirit1- It is love, then, that you should strive for. Set your hearts on spiritual gifts, especiallythe gift of proclaiming God's message, prophecy.

Again in this translation the word of God says, ‘’set your,’’’ [that’s you} ‘’heart’’ on ‘’spiritualgifts,’’ meaning many, not just one gift

Matthew 11-12-Names of God Bible (NOG)12 from the time of John the Baptizer until now, the kingdom of heaven has beenforcefully advancing, and forceful people have been seizing it

Matthew 11-12-Amplified Bible (AMP)12 And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heavenhas endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize—a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion].It is not the watery weak people who have been pressing in to take from heaven what God saidto take. No one can steal from God, or invade his kingdom, it is his kingdom that isadvancing forcefully, not the enemies; he is Almighty, and there is no one stronger than him.As for the children of God, everything is already theirs; and it is up to them to come and openthe treasuries and take by command i.e. loosing what is their birthright, given freely by theirfather; and weak unbelieving people do not believe they can take anything from heaven, eventhough it belongs to them by birthright, through Jesus. You must seek the things of Godforcefully. The enemy would have you think that God’s kingdom is being attacked by violent men; thatis wrong, for a start, men cannot enter the kingdom of heaven to take away anything by force, that would make Almighty God and his heavenly angels weak, and able to be defeated, andevery Christian knows that God is ‘’Almighty’’ and not in any shape fashion of form ‘’weak;’’it is an illusion that the enemy places before our eyes in regard to this scripture; the illusionthat men can actually attack the kingdom of heaven, and this is the violence it suffers. It can’tand never will be able to suffer an attack from mankind, man is unable to enter the spiritualside until he no longer exists as a human being of flesh and blood, and it’s too late to try andattack God’s kingdom when you are dead, because you are either in it, or in the other placeand you cannot attack anything from there. this scripture is God telling you to take whatbelongs to you by force a force to be used against the enemy, not God for he gave you powerand authority to take what you need, robustly, vigorously, powerfully, and persuasively, using all the power God gave you to resist the enemy who is trying to get you to think this isan attack on God. Jesus used force against the devil when he defeated him in hell!

Forcefully means, vehemently, vigorously, powerfully, convincingly, compellingly, per-suasively, winningly, robustly, passionately, whole heartedly. This is how we shouldapproach heaven, and this pleases our God immensely, he is delighted when we act like Jesus

knowing that he is father and has already given us everything. Some Christians think we aretrying to take things from God, and they will never do anything to get what they need; theyforget God already gave it to them, its theirs anyway, its your birthright through Jesus;and you cannot take from God what he gave you in the first place, it is your birthright, whenyou become born again; the only ones who will try and hold things from you is the enemy andhis forces of evil, he will lie and deceive you in everything you try and do for God andyourself, and his spirits will try and fool you into false humility, telling you to wait on God forhim to give you things; but God has already given you everything, and they keep mostChristians waiting in a time of limbo, going nowhere and doing nothing. You must seek the sevenfold Holy Spirit spirits forcefully, just like every other gift that Godhas already given to you, never giving up. If you have all these things that I say, then howcome they don’t seem to be there with me?

Simple- you have never gone after them forcefully, never giving up until you know that theyare now seated deep inside you. It is wrong to think that God does not want his children toget things, that his word says is already ours; through our inheritance, and joining togetherwith, and in, Christ Jesus; you are now a part of Jesus, and he is part of you and that is howyou should be thinking; ‘I am one with, and in Christ Jesus,’ ‘he is no less a part of me than Iam a part of him.’

Where is the kingdom of God? How can we storm it by forceful means? Easily scripture tellsus from out of the mouth of Jesus himself the kingdom of God is within us, the children of Godfor we are filled with the Godhead, Father Son and Holy Spirit. The forceful taking must comeout of our mouths constantly declaring the things God gave us as ours

Names-of-God-Bible-Luke-17:20

They can’t say, ‘Here it is!’ or ‘There it is!’ You see, the kingdom of God iswithin you.”

The Pharisees asked Jesus about the kingdom of God and he answered, “thekingdom of God is within,” and you cannot get a better truth than from the mouth ofJesus, but do we act like the kingdom of God is within us? For most Christians theanswer to that is, no!

Another translation reads;

Luke 17-20-Names of God Bible (NOG) 20 The Pharisees asked Yeshua {Jesus} when the kingdom of God would come.

He answered them, “People can’t observe the coming of the kingdom of God. 21 Theycan’t say, ‘Here it is!’ or ‘There it is!’ You see, the kingdom of God is within you.”

The kingdom of God is within us right now this very moment, you cannot get any closer to itthan you are now as it is inside you.The sevenfold sides of the Holy Spirit are within us already if we received the baptism in theHoly Spirit; it is seeking for the release in you of these sides to the Holy Spirit that will bringthem to the fore and it must be done forcefully earnestly, never giving up until we know forcertain we have them. Scripture says of God, you will find me when you seek me earnestly-forcefully,

Jeremiah 29-13-Amplified Bible (AMP)

13 Then you will seek me, inquire for, and require me [as a vital necessity] and find mewhen you search for me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the Lord,

Don’t go looking for God half heartedly; seek him earnestly, like you were seeking your lastbreath. Look at what God says, ‘’you will, will find me,’’ ‘’when you seek me with all yourheart.’’ If you lost a substantial winning lottery ticket somewhere would you not searcheverywhere high and low for it, you would never give up searching, even when one day endsyou would still keep searching right through each day intent on finding it. You would nevergive up, too much would be at stake, you would never cease searching and that should be theway it is searching for God.Of course the enemy will try everything he can to destroy you, he will attack you, and attackyour family, and attack your goods, everything, to keep you from focusing on the gloriousoffers God has for you, don’t allow him to distract you ignore what he is trying to do no matterwhat it is, by glorifying God, and Jesus and focusing on praising him.Praise is the means of telling God we trust and believe him!

Four

There is a price on these things, are you willing to pay whatever price it costs you?To get all these things from God has a price and it is a heavy price, it is a price I consider worthpaying. Since I began asking God seriously for the release of the sevenfold spirit in me, myhealth has been attacked acutely, two of my daughters have suffered physical attacks in theirbody, one had a stroke, and now one has epilepsy, another daughters husband abandoned herand their two children, my son in America now cant get a job, and he is a highly qualifiedelectrician, two of my children lost their homes on the same day, and two others are beingmentally attacked.

But with all of that God is restoring things as fast as the enemies attacking. My daughter withthe stroke has no side effects from the stroke and as for the daughter with epilepsy I know howto heal that. Both of my children got a new home within days, and my daughter whose husbandabandoned them realized she was an alcoholic, and is going to AA meetings and is now in agood church with spiritual support. It is sad to say that my family is attacked because of my desires to serve God with immensepower, and of course the enemy is panicking because he knows I have already received thesethings which I have sought with all my heart.

And I know that God will always turn everything to good for those who love him and arefitting in with his plans anyway-Romans-8-28.Scripture warns us that when we become Christians we will be attacked by the devil and hishoards of evil followers; it also warns us not to do things without counting the cost, before yougo into battle.

Luke 14-25-Names of God Bible (NOG)

The Cost of Being a Disciple25 Large crowds were traveling with Yeshua {Jesus}. He turned to them and said, 26 “Ifpeople come to me and are not ready to abandon their fathers, mothers, wives, children, brothers, and sisters, as well as their own lives, they cannot be my disciples.27 So thosewho do not carry their crosses and follow me cannot be my disciples.28 “Suppose you want to build a tower. You would first sit down and figure out what itcosts. Then you would see if you have enough money to finish it. 29 Otherwise, if you laya foundation and can’t finish the building, everyone who watches will make fun ofyou. 30 They’ll say, ‘This person started to build but couldn’t finish the job.’31 “Or suppose a king is going to war against another king. He would first sit down andthink things through. Can he and his 10,000 soldiers fight against a king with 20,000soldiers? 32 If he can’t, he’ll send ambassadors to ask for terms of peace while the otherking is still far away. 33. in the same way, none of you can be my disciples unless you giveup everything. These words come from the mouth of Jesus himself; he was warning those who choose to behis followers, that there would be a price to pay in following him, but the rewards areheavenly; better to spend eternity in heaven living a wondrous life than to sit on earth afraidto take a chance on Jesus; when he said about abandoning your children etc he did not meanthat you were to just abandon them but it is in the heart if asked to do so then you must bewilling, and that means even laying down your very life if need be for Jesus. This scripture is not a negative scripture but it is a truth that we as children of God have toconsider, whom do we love first in our lives, it must be God first, and then husband wife andchildren then family, and ourselves last.

God gave us families to look after and he expects us to place them first after him, after all hegave them to us in the first place; and for those of you who would think that you have toabandon your kids; don’t be stupid, God gave them to you in the first place to rear for him, itis a heart attitude that God is looking for – if he asked would you? Look at what he asked ofAbraham-

Genesis 22-2-Common English Bible (CEB)Binding of Isaac

After these events, God tested Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!”Abraham answered, “I’m here.”2 God said, “Take your son, your only son whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land ofMoriah. Offer him up as an entirely burned offering there on one of the mountains thatI will show you.” 3 Abraham got up early in the morning, harnessed his donkey, and tooktwo of his young men with him, together with his son Isaac. He split the wood for theentirely burned offering, set out, and went to the place God had described to him.4 On the third day, Abraham looked up and saw the place at a distance. 5 Abraham saidto his servants, “Stay here with the donkey. The boy and I will walk up there, worship, and then come back to you.”6 Abraham took the wood for the entirely burned offering and laid it on his son Isaac. Hetook the fire and the knife in his hand, and the two of them walked on together. 7 Isaacsaid to his father Abraham, “My father?”Abraham said, “I’m here, my son.”Isaac said, “Here is the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the entirely burnedoffering?”8 Abraham said, “The lamb for the entirely burned offering? God will see to it,[a] myson.” The two of them walked on together.9 They arrived at the place God had described to him. Abraham built an altar there andarranged the wood on it. He tied up his son Isaac and laid him on the altar on top of thewood.10 Then Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to kill his son as asacrifice. 11 But the LORD’s messenger called out to Abraham from heaven, “Abraham?Abraham?”Abraham said, “I’m here.”12 The messenger said, “Don’t stretch out your hand against the young man, and don’tdo anything to him. I now know that you revere God and didn’t hold back your son, youronly son, from me.” 13 Abraham looked up and saw a single ram caught by its horns inthe dense underbrush. Abraham went over, took the ram, and offered it as an entirelyburned offering instead of his son. 14 Abraham named that place “the LORD sees.”  Thatis the reason people today say, “On this mountain the LORD is seen.”

God tested Abraham he didn’t want him to sacrifice his son at all, he was just looking atAbraham’s heart attitude, seeing if he would obey; God does not want us killing anyone nevermind our own children he was the one who sacrificed his own son for us so we need no longerbe separated from him, this was a one off thing with God. All God is looking for is those witha God centered heart and mind, those who put him first in everything. If we want supernatural power like no others have, then there will be a price to pay, and arewe willing to pay whatever price we are asked to pay?No matter what the enemy does God will restore it back even better, he turns ‘'everything,’’and that means ‘’everything,’’ to good for you later on.For me the price is sever but worth it, and I know at this moment in time my children wouldnot agree with me as it is them who are suffering; and as a parent Rose and I suffer when ourchildren suffer; just as any parent does when things are happening to their kids; but it is forlove of them that I would seek the greater gifts and powers off of God; they will benefit lateron in all the promises that God gave me years ago, promises to make me extremely wealthy, and other promises they will share the benefits of.Anything God offers is worth the price we have to pay; these things are only passing eternallife is for ever.Amen
