The interview scene

This scene opens with a long establishing shot of a man walking through a door into a room full of chairs tables and a few other people. This shot is used to show where the man actually is, the type of environment he is in, and where he is actually walking towards. The man is not speaking or pulling any facial gestures so its not important to see his face at this point.

Next is a tracking shot of the man still at an angle (at the side) This is continuing to show where the man is walking to and makes the audience feel more involved as if they are walking with him.

Here is a 2 shot of the man talking to a woman, this is to show what sort of relationship they have with one another ,so here we can see that she is behind a counter so we they probably get the idea that they've never met before.

Next is another tracking shot of the man but this time its a tracking shot of him from the behind walking towards another door. This creates tension as we as the audience do not not what's about to happen next as we feel as though we are moving with him.

Then there is a medium shot of the man walking through the door , the camera is still only showing the behind of the man and nothing more to build suspense. We want to know where he is going and why.

Then when the man is in the interview room there is a medium shot of him to show his emotions and body language. From this we can see clearly how the man is feeling.

Next there is a medium shot of the man sitting behind the desk , maybe the fact that he's seen behind the desk is to show some kind of authority /power over the other man being interviewed? The audience are also able to see his facial expressions and body language from this medium shot.

Again , here is another medium shot of the man , the camera jumps to each character each time they speak to show conversation and when one stops talking it shows the other character to show an insight of how they are feeling by their facial expressions and body language. And keeps the audience interested.
