Advertised  on  different  platforms  such  as  bus  stops  and  busses  and  it  has  even  been  advertised  on  the  side  of  buildings.  

Advertisment  showing  that  you  don’t  have  to  be  a  skilled  gamer  to  play  it  and  it  also  shows  you  all  the  different  jobs  you  can  have  and  makes  them  look  fun.  Also  by  putting  a  older  woman  on  the  cover  they  have  widened  their  target  audience  and  shown  that  anyone  of  any  age  can  play  it.  

   

 

                                       

             

ß  They  have  created  loads  of  gane  expansions  so  when  you  get  tired  of  playing  thr  game  you  can  add  more  things  to  the  game  and  lets  you  play  with  more  hings,  new  jobs,  new  people  and  new  worlds.  They  also  got  Katy  Perry  to  design  an  expansion  which  would  attract  more  fans  of  Katy  Perry  and  will  make  them  more  money.  

The  sims  company  and  people  who  play  the  games  have  created  celebrity  look  a  like  sims,  which  will  sell  the  game  because  people  will  enjoy  trying  to  re  create  the  look  of  their  favourite  celebrity.  

à  The  creators  of  sims  have  re  created  the  game  so  people  can  play  it  on  other  game  consoles  other  than  the  computer,  such  as  X-­‐Box,  Wii  and  nintendo.  They  have  also  created  a  free  app  called  The  sims  freeplay  which  allows  people  to  play  sims  on  their  phones  or  tablets.  It  isn’t  exactly  the  same  as  The  Sims  3  gameplay  but  allows  people  to  crreate  and  interact  with  the  sims.  

 The  creators  of  sims  have  also  created  a  website  where  you  can  talk  to  other  players  in  forums  and  ask  questions,  answer  them  for  other  people  and  just  get  hints  and  tips  about  the  game.  You  can  also  get  downloadable  contect  and  even  buy  extra  items  for  your  game  such  as  new  outfits,  houses,  furniture,  hair  styles  etc.  There  are  also  game  updates  and  a  newsfeed  so  you  can  read  the  latest  news  related  to  the  sims  which  sometimes  include  offers  and  discounts  in  the  sims  store.  

 

     

ß  There  are  also  Sims  3  cheats  which  allow  players  to  get  more  money,  edit  certain  asects  of  the  game  etc.  This  allows  players  who  are  struggling  with  the  game  or  players  that  are  bored  of  playing  the  game  and  would  like  new  things  to  experiment  with  the  game  and  try  things  that  aren’t  in  the  original  gameplay.
