Zoom Meeting Call** Call the MAC at 317-524-6550 to register
Grab your morning beverage and join the weekly Zoom Meeting with MAC Staff for various Wellness Myth Busters—all from the comfort of home! Check out the common misconceptions below (maybe you’ve even said one of these statements yourself).
May 7 - “Walking to the dining room and to get my mail is enough exercise. All I need is a little cardio, right?” May 14 - Women’s Health Week topic: “If I use weights, I’ll bulk up like a man. Plus I have osteoporosis, so I can’t risk lifting heavy weights.” May 21 - “I want to lose fat around my stomach, so I need to do more ab exercises. I will need a lot of exercises to make sure I sweat as much as possible so I know I’m burning more calories.” May 28 - “I try to limit how much I eat per meal and do as much cardio as I can… I’m doing everything right, but I’m still NOT losing the weight!”

Earn points for your team by participating in the opportunities below and use your team tickets to report it to the MAC. The team with the most points will win! needed to represent their team in fun challenges like Mad Libs, Minute-to-Win-It games, Name That Tune and more! Don’t miss the fun, tune-in to Channel 91 at 2:00 pm and cheer your team from home! If you are interested in participating, contact the MAC by May 6.
Wednesday, May 20—National Juice Slush Day. As the competition heats up, cool
off with a refreshing Juice Slush (better known as a slushie) on the Event Lawn. Sip your slushie and enjoy the warm sunny air, stretch the legs and walk the path, or challenge your coordination at the Dart Art Wall! 1:30 pm—2:30 pm.
Thursday, May 21—National Wait Staff Day. We can all appreciate the wonderful
