Six Thinking Hats is a system designed by Edward de Bono which describes a tool for group discussion and individual thinking involving six colored hats.
How to solve a problem?
Try on “colored thinking hats”. Every color is identified as an attitude to the problem.
White- focuses on data, studies the information and sees what he can learn from it
Red-uses intuition, emotions and gut reaction
Black- bad points of the decision, focuses on potential problems or why something may not work
Yellow- develops positive thinking, identifies benefits
Green- focuses on creativity, possibilities and new ideas.
Blue – focuses on the questions: What is the subject? What are we thinking about? What is the goal?
