Meet the Founders

As CEO, Conor oversees the business development and marketing of The SoCo Mission. A Texas native, Conor is passionate about preserving what makes Austin unique while meeting the needs of both local events and visitors. Conor saw the need for a quality multimedia event venue with close proximity to downtown within the heart of Austin. He founded The SoCo Mission to celebrate what he loves about Austin while supporting quality, independent music and film. Heavily involved in Texas arts and business, Conor works hard to ensure that the facility will never lose sight of the gift that Austin artists are to the city.

Conor Chamberlain

Jeff Wilkinson COO and cofounder Jeff Wilkinson founded The SoCo Mission out of a love for beautiful, functional spaces as well as a passion for Texas music and film. Another Texas native and 15 year Austin resident, Jeff knows what makes Texas great and likes to show it off as he helps host clients and events from all over. With a background in management, Jeff has overseen projects spanning sale to completion, which has earned him the skill sets to oversee The Soco Mission from a more global perspective. He supervises in-house staff in charge of day-to-day operations and function of the facility while managing execution of large-scale events and projects.

The SoCo Mission was founded by two Texas natives, Conor Chamberlain and Jeff Wilkinson. Both men share a passion for Austin as well as music and film and founded The SoCo Mission to serve as an entertainment, cultural, and event hub for the city they call home.
