Merry Christmas From All of Us at Grace! Merry Christmas, Grace Family! Its hard to believe we are wrapping up the first semester and getting ready for Christmas vacation. Thank you for joining our family! We count it a privilege to work with your children every day, and we are excited to see what God is doing in our midst. We had a great school camp, fall sports seasons, GrandparentsDay, Leader- ship Camp, eighth and ninth grade trip to Washington, DC, and an excellent performance of Annie. But most importantly, 315 young people are being taught the Bible every day! They are re- ceiving an excellent education in an environment that nurtures and encourages them to walk with the Savior, and souls have been saved! I hope you pray for our students and staff, every day! We are asking God to open the eyes of our students to His truth, draw them close to Him, and to give them understanding in God's Word and in their studies to prepare them to live life successfully. I hope this Christmas is a blessed time for your family as you reflect on Gods great gift of Jesus Christ. Lets pray for physical and spiritual safety for one another during the break. Thank you for sharing your children with us! Our prayer is for God to have His good hand of blessing on your home and family. Merry Christmas from all of us here at Grace! Your friend, Dan Brokke New Van! Thank you! Thank you for sponsoring our serve-a-thon last spring, our fall sale, 5k, and fruit sale this fall. We are excited to announce we just purchased a 2018 Ford Transit XLT with 1,550 miles on it. We praise the Lord for His provision and thank our students and parents for their support! We look forward to thousands of safe, comfortable miles in this new vehi- cle. Merry Christmas!

Grace! Merry Christmas, Grace Family! It’s hard to believe we are wrapping up the first semester and getting ready for Christmas vacation. Thank you for joining our family! We count it a privilege to work with your children every day, and we are excited to see what God is doing in our midst. We had a great school camp, fall sports seasons, Grandparents’ Day, Leader-ship Camp, eighth and ninth grade trip to Washington, DC, and an excellent performance of Annie.

We are asking God to open the eyes of our students to His truth, draw them close to Him, and to give them understanding in God's Word and in their studies to prepare them to live life successfully.

I hope this Christmas is a blessed time for your family as you reflect on God’s great gift of Jesus Christ. Let’s pray for physical and spiritual safety for one another during the break. CONGRATULATIONS to our “Students of the Week”:

DECEMBER

Calendar Change

Looking ahead to January’s calendar, we have decided to move our teacher in-service from the 11th to the 18th. Monday, January 21st, is already scheduled as a day off from school, so this would allow for a 3 1/2 day weekend for our families! We wanted to make you aware of this change ahead of time, so you can plan!

Did You Miss an Exam?

If a student missed a mid-term exam due to sickness or another excused absence, they may make up their exams on Thurs-day and Friday, December 27th and 28th, or Wednesday and Thursday, January 2nd and 3rd. Please contact the school of-fice and schedule a time to come in.

Christmas Break

This year, Christmas Break will begin at noon tomorrow, Friday, December 21st. While classes will be dismissed at noon, daycare/aftercare will be available until 5:30pm. All classes will resume on Monday, January 7th. The school office will be open Wednesday-Friday, December 26th-28th, and Wednesday-Friday, January 2nd-4th, from 9:00-3:00.

Fall Sales

We want to thank our many parents and volunteers who help and make our Fall Fundraisers a success! Now, we would ask you to help us by getting all outstanding money for these events turned into the school office before you leave for Christ-mas break!

Archery Results Congratulations to all of our Soldier Archers! Their first tournament, held at Ashland High School, in Ashland, KY, was a success! Overall, both our High School and Middle School team did well! Several of the team members achieved their personal best score! Special recognition goes to Anna Brewer, who placed 2nd out of 99 high school females, and James Britton who place 2nd out of 111 high school males! Do all to the glory to God!
