Praise God! Thank you for your support of the “Enough: Discovering Joy Through Simplici-ty and Generosity” stewardship journey. To date 164 individuals and families have completed Estimate of Giving Cards totaling $763,726 to be used for our ministries in 2020. We are excited about this increased amount compared to last year’s total of $746,022!

If you have not yet completed your Estimate of Giving Card there is still time to do so. Please complete your card and drop it in the offering plate on Sun-day or send it to the church office. Cards are available in the pews, at the Welcome Desk, and in the church office.

On behalf of the Finance Committee, we are grateful for you and our church family for accepting the challenge to live life more simply so that we may give more generously. Praise God!

What an incredible weekend of worship we experienced last Saturday and Sunday! Angela Primm brought down the house as she blessed us with her powerful singing and passionate witness. I jokingly welcomed our congrega-tion on Sunday to the St. Simons Methodist Holiness Pentecostal Church. There was no question that the Holy Spirit showed up here in a special way. Thank you to all who supported the concert on Saturday and to Mel and Nan-cy Rozier for the time and effort they gave to make Angela’s presence with us possible. Praise God!

Thank you for your faithfulness in your worship attendance. It is always a blessing to see you here. I hope to see you this Sunday! It’s going to be an-other great day!

Praise God for the many ways he continues to bless us and the ministries of our amazing church!

The Fellowship Sunday School Class

Our class is looking for a few new members. We are a small, mature class of 20 members. We have 4 teach-ers who rotate so that each week you get a different “flavor” of teaching. We use the International Sunday School Lesson Book based on the NIV bible. We are located on the 2nd floor – last room on the left and we meet at 9:45 on Sunday.

Many of us go out for Breakfast after the lesson. We also have a dinner once a quarter at one of the local restaurants.

The UMW Healthy Planet Tip of the Month

Instead of recycling your magazines, consider taking them to the hospital or one of the retirement or nursing homes in the area. Such items will be well used there. Take your used books to the local libraries for donation. Some second hand charities will also accept books. Donate any items you are no longer using to a local charity ….remember it needs to be clean and in useable condition.
