July 2020 meeting minutes
SIMA met at J.J. Thermos. Larry called the meeting together at 6:55pm, because Tom and Bill were not able to attend due to circumstances. There were 15 members present, with one visitor, Brian Todd. There was no secretary’s report due to not having any meetings. Larry gave treasurer’s report: Motion made by Steve, seconded by Paul, all in favor. MCA report: Kim announced that all nationals are cancelled except for Tucson and it is rescheduled for October. There is no Grand National. There is no Regional Directors Summit for 2020. No date set for it. Central Illinois and Show Me have been cancelled. Old Business: Steve had magazines to give away. He also handed out stickers for 2020, in honor of Mustang’s birthday. Joe gave a report on Bill’s health. Larry suggested we take his name of the show flyer to relieve him some of the burden. Steve shared some information about several members parking cars for NMRA. Larry mentioned that some people have asked about our show concerning food and restrooms being available. Steve mentioned that if we have to go with port potties, they run around $1200.00. New Business: Steve asked if anyone was going to the Ford Unlimited car show on Sunday, July 26th. Meet at Flying J’s . 8:00 am in Mitchell. Aug. 8th Dynamic Duo Show. Larry asked for judges for the Mustangs. Motion made by Steve to adjourn meeting, seconded Kim. All in favor. Meeting adjourned at 7:30pm. Brian Todd won 50/50. He donated the money back to the club. Secretary, Dodie Brewer.
The next Meeting will be held on August 11, at JJ Thermo’s

Things are still ago for the Oct. 17th car show. Don't forget dues are up for reinstating membership. I'll have new membership cards at next meeting for those of you who have paid up. A reminder for those of you that are going to judge Mustangs only at the Dynamic Duo Show on Aug. 8th at park in Godfrey, Ill. be there by at least 10 am. Nothing new to add for our show for now, so another committee meeting will be later down the road. The room at J.J.Thermo’s is reserved for the meeting on August 11th from 6pm till 8pm. Note from the President
Greetings to all club members! Another month has come and gone. We had a meeting in July. I am sure we will look for another place from time to time. The show is still on and is being planned. It has been moved to Oct. 17. Larry will let us know what kinds of things need to be done. Please help in any way you can. Step forward if you know what you want to do. The Dynamic Duo show is Aug. 8. Don’t forget the need for sponsorships. Larry has forms. We will keep you informed when the changes happen. Keep as safe as you can and protect yourselves. It will be good to see all of you again. I do hope we can continue to meet and also to plan some other things to do. Sincerely, Tom
