April 22, 2015 Dear Parents & Caregivers, Thank you for all of your support with getting the children here daily and on time for PSSA testing. We are very proud of all of the hard work the children have put in. Tomorrow we have one final day of Math Testing for students in grades 3-8. Next week, grades 4 & 8 will have their Science PSSA test on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thank you again to all parents that made donations to the classroom raffle baskets. Your parent involvement hours will be noted on your trimester 3 parent report card! We are grateful for your continued support of our great school! Also, please join us in appreciating our teachers and staff the week of May 4th

Class Dues 5th and 8th Grade Parents: All class dues must be paid in full by Friday, April 24th. Please see Mr. Peterson (5th grade) and Ms. Lloyd (8th grade) with any questions.

Counselor Corner 7th Grade Parents: Thank you for attending the High School Interest meeting last Thursday! Please keep a close eye out for updates regarding the high school application process in the Wednesday folders, as well as by asking your student where they currently are in their high school project. Please reach out to Mrs. Cummings with any questions!

Field Trips Wed., May 13th: 5th Grade on a Historic Philadelphia Tour

Fri., May 15th: 4th Grade to the Philadelphia Zoo

Tues., May 26th: 6th Grade to the Franklin Institute

All students will receive a boxed lunch. Students may pack their own lunch. Please keep an eye out for permission slips!

Community Service 8th Grade Parents: All community service hours must be completed by May 8th, 2015. No exceptions. Any student that is in need of additional hours must see Ms. Lloyd.

Science PSSAs are next week!

All students in grades 4 and 8 will be taking the Science PSSA on Tues, April 28th and Weds, April 29th.
