DESCRIPTION
The Spirit World Illustrated was written after World War 1 in response to the multitude of people who were seeing mediums and/or other supernatural sources in order to try and communicate with loved ones who were killed during World War 1. The book aimed to teach people that only God can raise the dead and attempts to contact the dead via mediums and what not was forbidden and would only bring bad things to those who tried using such means to communicate.
