MESSAGE The status of women in India has been subjected to many great changes over the past few millennia. Leadership development of minority women is a scheme to further this development to the unreached section of society specially minority women. It is an acknowledged fact that when you teach a man, the man learns, but when you teach a woman, the family and society learns. The scheme has the potential to develop leadership skills in minority women, equip them with life skills that will enable them realize their own potential and help them change their present situation for a better future. I hope that all this brings a silent revolution in the status of women in our country through the leadership skills of minority women so that they become socially and economically empowered. I would like to thank Ministry of Women and Child Development for helping in the development of the module for the scheme. I would also like to express my appreciation for the team which has worked hard to make the scheme possible in its present form.
