Humbug is an award winning children’s clothes shop based in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. We have prepared this look-book to show you some of our fabulous Autumn Winter 2009 collections, which you can order or pre-reserve by email or by telephone (check out the “how to order” chapter). We are not a traditional webshop – there are no baskets, and you can’t “click and buy”. But, we do pride ourselves on our personal service and by keeping our web offering simple, we are keeping costs and therefore prices, at a minimum. The pictures were mainly taken at our buying appointments, so they are not always the most beautiful. Sometimes, we’ve ordered items in a different colour to that shown – look out for the colour description. If you want help choosing the perfect outfit, just give us a

ring and we’ll do our best to assist.

Chapter 13 How to order

If you want to order items then you need to:

• Make a note of the photograph number and the age that you want the item in

• Ring the shop on 01943 603300 and let us know what you want – we’ll confirm whether its

still available. If it is, we will take payment for the item over the telephone

• If the item is in stock, we will either hold it in the shop for you to collect, or post it out to

you. Our usual terms and conditions will apply to this sale (see below)

• If the item is not in stock, as soon as it arrives we’ll ring you to let you know. Again, we can

hold it in the shop, or post it out to you

• Postage is charged at £4.50 per package – regardless of the number of items

Terms and conditions

1. Subject to clause 4 below in relation to special orders, an unsuitable, unworn item

accompanied by a valid receipt may be returned within 7 days of purchase for a refund, or

within 14 days of purchase for an exchange or credit note.

2. Where an item is sent out by post and is unsuitable, it may be returned within 7 days

from the date of receipt for a refund, or within 14 days of receipt for an exchange or credit note.

If you are intending to return an item sent out by post, please ring the shop first and make sure

you send the parcel by special delivery. We cannot be responsible for any returned items which

are lost in transit.

3. Where an item is purchased in advance of coming into stock and is to be picked up from

the shop, the terms set out in clause 1 apply from the day we ring to let you know the item has

come into stock. Where the item is to be sent out by post, the terms set out in clause 2 apply.

4. Where an item is specially ordered for a customer (for example where a particular size

has sold out), the item is not returnable unless faulty.

5. Credit notes are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
