The story of the Ladurée macaron

starts in the middle of the 20th century

with Pierre Desfontaines, who had the idea of

sticking two macaron shells together and filling

them with a delicious ganache.

Since then, the recipe remains unchanged.

Ladurée’s tea collection is presented in gift boxes

either as loose tea or tea bags.

Les créations:

Marie-Antoinette : Delicious marriage of Chinese and Indian black teas combined with rose petals, citrus fruit and honey. A bucolic walk at the Petit Trianon.

Ladurée : Elegant association of black teas from China and Sri Lanka, citrus fruit, flowers, sweet spices and vanilla. A tasty blending, sweet and delicate. Ladurée’s signature.

Roi Soleil : Green tea marked by the energy of bergamot combined with rhubarb and caramel. A royal blend that gives panache to this tea.

Les gourmands:

Jardin Bleu Royal : This graceful tea is like an exquisite delicacy. It consists of Chinese and Sri Lankan black teas, wild strawberry, rhubarb, cherry, cornflower petals and marigold flowers.

Les classiques:

Earl Grey : A traditional oriental blend of Chinese, Sri Lankan and Indian black teas. This firm favourite is flavoured with essential oil from the bergamot orange.

Breakfast: An invigorating blend of crushed black tea leaves. This blend of teas from Sri Lanka (Ceylon) and India is perfect for breakfast and evokes the famous English breakfast tea.
