The setting in the story is at Westfield Middle School and at Jace’s house.
When nobody believes Jace's claims that she saw the new substitute teacher smearing blood all over his hands and face, Jace spies on the mysterious Mr. Hiss and concludes that the creepy substitute is not a human being.
The type of conflict is Man vs. Man The resolution is that he got the other
classmates to believe him.
My Prediction before I read the story is that the Substitute was going to be really weird and that he is going to be a hard substitute to the student.
My prediction was some what right because the Sub was weird but he ended up being nice to the students.
