Eva 以往是從事會計的工作,而 Andrew是在加拿大唸電腦工程的,兩人原本跟紀念品市場沒有關係的。

於是兩人就產品設計、定價、目標客戶群、供應商等方面進行更全面的資料搜集,因而建立了以雨傘為機構宣傳紀念品的獨特經營模式。

在一次偶然的機會,一位由日本回來的朋友,返香港順道帶來一些很好質料的雨傘,令兩位年青人著迷。

經過一番資料搜集、市場分析後,發現以雨傘為紀念品的市場,暫時仍未有很多競爭,而且以較傳統的模式經營,缺乏設計心思,訂單額亦要求較大,售後服務欠缺。

雨傘,其實是流動的宣傳工具,比較起日曆、筆座等文具有更佳的曝光率。

而且張開的雨傘,面積較大,容易吸引注意,亦擁有更大的設計空間。

質量好的雨傘較耐用,宣傳的訊息更長久,亦是品牌的優質象徵。

「香港青年創業計劃」最後批出 HK$90,000 貸款給倚天香港, Eva 及 Andrew 亦自行籌組 HK$90,000 資金。

經營一年後,已吸引一些跨國公司垂青,如銀行、化妝品、汽車公司等的訂單。

由於雨傘是季節性的用品,所以「倚天」亦開展其他類別的紀念品市場,如頸繩、水晶、購物袋及筆等。

「倚天」的目標,是希望能成為類似利豐集團的模式,以創意設計及高效率的營運,成為專門化的紀念品設計生產公司。

一位在香港大學唸環境工程,另一位在科技大學唸環境科學,兩位都是本地大學的碩士畢業生,原本是安穩地在機構任職工程師,但覺得身為年青人,應創一番事業。

滿腦子都是創業的點子,但始終不是很熟悉其他市場,唯獨是環保工業,是兩人的專業知識。

於是兩位年青人專心鑽研環保市業在香港的發展空間,發現垃圾其實都是很值錢的東西。雖然有了目標方向,但欠缺啟動資金。

有一天, Felix 在家吃飯時,看見墊底的報紙刊載了「香港青年創業計劃」的資料,之後與 Alex 商討,在截止申請前兩星期才報名參加,並開始撰寫計劃書。

回收垃圾是一門資本投入較多的生意,一些設備動輒也是十多萬元。

雖然「香港青年創業計劃」最終只能批出 HK$80,000貸款給衡睿,但是因為得到這項鼓勵,令 Alex 及 Felix更有決心自行籌組資金。

重大的設備投資,包括壓縮垃圾機、貨車等重型機械。

「衡睿」的目標,是希望把環保的知識普及,加強環保措施的效益,為改善環境污染盡力。

逆向思維 的 創業模式

美國紐約市青年,從事廣告業的 Justin ,每天清晨及夜晚,趁清潔工人還未掃街時,走到街頭收集垃圾。為免包裝精美的垃圾盒發出異味,吉尼亞克只會收集乾身垃圾,他把垃圾帶回家之後,還要作一輪精心挑選,用不同的組合製作一盒盒獨特的垃圾,再放上網出售,每盒定價可高達 HK$390 ,仍然反應出奇地好,至今已經在全美 21個州和 20個國家賣出逾 800 盒。

畢業於視覺藝術學校的吉尼亞克說,垃圾可以賣得好價錢的關鍵在於包裝。

「包裝確實十分重要,只要包裝得好,你可以出售任何物品,甚至是垃圾。」

奇離古怪 的 創業模式

現年 46歲的鄭琳原本是西安一家企業的退休員工,在去年下半年的某一天,她在電視上看到有關養蒼蠅的價值,讓她心動不已,於是至各地打探有關消息及搜尋資料後,與老公戴福清搬到陜西省寶雞市,展開養蒼蠅生涯。

人們總把蒼蠅與糞便聯想在一起,但至鄭琳的養殖場一探,會發現非但沒有又臭又髒,還全數恆溫恆濕,房間內撐起了十多頂蚊帳,黑壓壓的蒼蠅在內飛舞著,這些養殖蒼蠅,只能餵食紅糖、牛奶和水。蒼蠅的產物──蛹和卵,蛹用來孵化新的蒼蠅,卵用來培育蠅蛆。

至於蒼蠅蛆乾則以每公斤 80 元的價格供給鄭州的藥廠做醫藥和保健品原料,同時,也有一些慕名前來的西安、寶雞市民來嘗「熱炒蛆乾」。戴福清表示,他家的產品目前供不應求,下一步還想擴大規模。

報導引述專家指出,蒼蠅長期生活在細菌繁雜的環境中,卻從來不生病,是因其體內含有一種能夠抵禦細菌入侵的特殊物質「抗菌肽」( antimicrobial peptides)。抗菌肽能夠殺滅多種病原菌,增強免疫功能。

互利互惠 的 創業模式

免費影印服務今年春天於東京推出,月內將伸延至關西地區。想出這創意新招的,是二十三歲的應慶大學四年級生筒鹽快斗和他的四名同學。去年十一月,他們於東京港區創立「海洋創作室」 (Oceanize) ,今年四月起在應慶大學內擺設影印機,供同學免費使用。

與此同時,他們推出廣告計劃,在影印紙背面為商品大賣彩色廣告,平均每一萬頁收取約二萬六千港元。雖然只提供 A4紙張,他們已成功吸引各類針對大學生巿場的公司垂青,如 Do Co Mo手機公司和租屋公司等。由於反應熱烈,免費影印服務其後陸續進軍日本大學、帝京大學、早稻田大學及東京大學,五名大學生未畢業已成功創業。

免費影印賣廣告只要有創意,發達非難事!日本東京五名大學生,想出為當地同學提供免費影印,靠影印紙背面的廣告圖利。他們的廣告主要宣傳手機及時裝雜誌等針對學生巿場的產品,由於巿場策略運用得宜,他們的公司現時每月利潤已達一千萬日圓(約六十六萬港元)。
